One minute twenty seconds
Published on Jul 20, 2014 mcmike100
"This was for a contest. The challenge was to create a piece of music using only a sampler and it had to be under 90 seconds. This used the Akai S1000 as the sampler, and the samples were mostly from an Indian dilruba, heavily mutated. Other samples were created n Digidesign's Turbosynth program."

New Synthrotek PCB MOUNT Rat Clone LM308 Distortion
via Synthrotek
"We are pleased to announce that we have a NEW PCB MOUNT rat clone LM308 distortion in BOTH KITS and BARE PCBs. We have added the option now of ordering a pre-drilled precision enclosure to the kit for much easier assembly. We also have all of the pots turning the correct way now! This is one of the best sounding guitar pedals that we make and are stoked to make it even easier to build."

ENSONIQ ESQ-1 Synthesizer 1986 | HD DEMO | PATCHES

You can buy these patches - read the description for further details.
Synthesizer demo of the ENSONIQ ESQ-1 from 1986.
The intro sequence was produced with the sequencer of the ESQ-1. In this movie I play my own sounds - on some sounds I used a small amount of reverb from a Lexicon MPX-500. In the short "Oxygene part" I also used an Electro-Harmonix SMALL STONE phaser and a delay from ROLAND DEP-5.
The ENSONIQ ESQ-1 is a hybrid synthesizer from 1986. It has 32 digital waveforms and analog lowpass filter. It is flexible, since it employs 3 oscillators, 4 envelopes, 4 DCAs and 3 LFO's per voice. OSC sync and amplitude modulation possible - like on analog synthesizers. It has a velocity sensitive keyboard. In my opinion the ESQ-1 behaves pretty much like an analog synthesizer. The main differences are: it has more complex envelopes than ADSR, and it has digital oscillators. It is 8 voice polyphonic. Also it has a built in pattern sequencer. It is a kind of "poorman's PPG". The English manual is written very well, it's a pleasure to read.
The ESQ-1 has been used by Adamski, Jean-Michel Jarre, Front Line Assembly among others...

Siel DK-80 Test
Published on Jul 20, 2014 Pizza Synth
"Here is a demo of the Siel DK-80 to show working condition for sale. Midi/chords are coming from Ableton. Touch of Alesis Midiverb 1 on the master. I change the programs once in the beginning of the video and then tweak a few basic parameters. Cutoff and Resonance, etc, and then just detuning a bit. I run through the keys, velocity, and play a chord to show all voices firing at the end."
MATRIXSYNTH Turned 9 Today!
Today is the 9th anniversary of MATRIXSYNTH! It's hard to believe it's been nine years already. The site has had over 42,299,515 page views from 19,198,250 visits. This marks post 113370. Every single post has gone up by hand. What goes up is a combination of what I find out there and what people send in. The site currently averages between 40 and 50 posts a day and only one day was missed at the launch of the site back when I didn't expect there to be something to post every single day of the year.
Anyway, I'm keeping this post short this year. I almost didn't post anything, but I thought I should at least mention the date.
Thank you everyone! Running the site has been a great experience. I love promoting "Everything Synth" and giving a voice and an audience for us die hard synth fans.
Update via Bobby Shipe on The MATRIXSYNTH Lounge along with some anniversary wishes from the group:
"AS Telemark-K/Doepfer DarkEnergy Birthday song. One of my favorite websites turned 9 today so I made a Happy Birthday song with some synthesizers."
So awesome! THANK YOU!!!
And one via Rune Bastrup Zetterström on the Lounge as well:
