Published on Jul 26, 2014 anode8
"Here's another home studio jam session with my Korg ESX, Volca Bass & Keys. This little Korg techno jam is by no means a comprehensive display of any of these machines features or capabilities, just me having a little fun with some music that I like. If you like it too, let's connect:

R.A.Moog Modular old school ring modulator demo.
Published on Jul 26, 2014 CZRider01's channel
"Demo of a DIY discrete ring modulator on a R.A.Moog Modular. The only sound sources are the two 901 oscillators ring modulating each other. All sound is from the ring modulator output then through the 904A filter, 902 VCA. There are many ways to patch, but this is just demonstrating what the discrete ring modulator sounds like with a pair of the various 901 oscillator waveforms..
While the sound of a ring modulator is usually associated with bell like tones, this type can get a sort of chorus effect when the two inputs are close in tune. At times, this configuration with the low output 901 oscillators, has some really nice sounding tones similar to the Minimoog.
The module is DIY and built to 1969 R.A.Moog modular specs, using mostly period correct parts. Germanium transistors are matched and the transformers are Edcore with 20-20,000 Hz frequency response. Not many effects can improve on the tone of the old 901 oscillators, but this ring modulator seems to take the 901's tone and multiply it."
Using a Roland Juno 106 as a TB303 emulation
Published on Jul 26, 2014 MegaSniv
"Today I've tried to emulate a Roland TB 303 with my Juno 106. It sounds pretty convincing (except the absence of slide and accent feature). The first part is clean and the second part is with overdrive (Danelectro Daddy-O).
Off course this is an emulation and with the absence of a decent sequencer, slide and accent feature it won't sound exactly like the real deal. Anyways it was fun trying."
simple wad cv exploration

"Serge Modular Music System: Of course what’s cool about the Serge is you can put any CV/audio anywhere in the patch chain!
Here is a simple exploration of taking the V/OCT of the WAD and hearing how it affects the basic sequence.
I’m using a bunch of DUSG’s one as oscillator, one as vca/filter and one as LFO.
Enjoy!"
