DIY Synth - Analog/Digital Synthesizer - 2000 Waveform extended wavetable test
Published on Aug 10, 2014 Sylwester Retrospektive
"This is just a technical demo - i played with my left hand while using the control surface with my right hand - so the playing is not really musical. But you get an idea of how it sounds! These are over 2000 waveforms from the wavetable that is available on my synth.. from natural sounds (guitar, strings) over voices etc. this is only a short excerpt. Note that this is still work in progress - some wavetable sounds have the wrong offset.."

"I have for sale an awesome Roland MKS 80. This is the sought-after Rev 4 version and a great chance to buy this for $5-600 less than eBay!
Functionally this synth is in great shape. All buttons, sliders, knobs, and switches work perfectly with no issues. The sound is amazing and all voices work fine. Auto tune brings every voice right into tune, or you can just let it drift into analog natural detuning, or leave it detuned for crazy 16 VCO unison sounds.
Cosmetically, there are a few scratches on the synth, especially on the top. There is some rack rash, and a small scratch underneath the memory cartridge slot. The backlight is pretty dim but the display is perfectly readable and it is easy to edit sounds from the front panel.
I would prefer to sell this for cash in the NYC area. If you have a reliable purchase history and are willing to pay Paypal and shipping fees, I will consider selling/shipping it to you.
I can provide more pics or an audio demo on request.
Thanks for looking!!!"

Multivox MX-3000 Ultra Rare Vintage Analog Synth

"Selling my MX-3000 and it is in good working condition. Cosmetically looks great for its age. For full details contact me. Im selling local only in Los Angeles. Maybe you know someone here who can ship it for you. Because how rare and cool these are im selling for $2000. 70s analog blisss! See it being played here [video below]. from sound on sound magazine The MX3000 was Multivox's finest hour. With bass, poly, and lead sections, an ensemble effect, and a phaser, it falls into the same 'multi-keyboard' camp as the ARP Quadra, which I covered for Retrozone a few months ago (see SOS April and May 2002). The bass section offered three basic sounds, with three contour types, each with variable release. The lead synth consisted of a traditional VCO/VCF/VCA signal path plus an LFO and, despite its apparent limitations, it produced some interesting sounds. Nevertheless, the polyphonic section held the most promise. This offered eight editable voices, of which three (piano, harpsichord and honky-tonk) were velocity-sensitive. Given the similarities to the Quadra, it makes you wonder how much of the MX3000 was copied from ARP's ideas or designs. Keep an eye out for the MX3000. If you find one and don't want it, I'll buy it. Then I'll pop it open next to my Quadra and let you know."
