"SERIAL NUMBER: 783673
MANUFACTURED: May 1987 (Online Roland Serial Number Check - 2nd year of production!)
ROM VERSION: 1.04 (Important bugs fixed, needs only 1 chip not 3 if you wish to upgrade!)
This was one of the flagships of the Roland mid 80s synths, 24 DCOs total that can be used as either 2 (Dual) layers as a 6 note 4 osc synth or as a single layer (whole) 12 note polyphonic. In 12 note mode it's particularly useful for long release pads and strings as you won't run out of notes when you change chords (unlike the JX-8P which is restricted to 6 notes maximum). Layering it up in 6 note poly mode provides for some very rich sounds that can be output in various ways using the jacks on the back for expansive stereo.
You can play/audition the sounds on the synth by pressing 'enter' + 'shift' as this turns the number keys into a mini keyboard, octave can be changed with the arrow keys. Quite handy if you want to program it away from your keyboards.
Note: This unit has v 1.04 ROMS on both sound boards and assigner Board. This means it has many of the most important bug fixes and improvements already in place but you can upgrade further or even swap in custom chips that add some very cool new features (Details can be given if you are unaware of where/how). There is even a mod on the way that could possibly add PWM along with 2 extra (faster) envelopes, better MIDI spec and some other great additions. As it has 1.04 ROMS I believe if you wish to upgrade to the latest Firnware you'll only need to swap the Assigner board ROM not all 3 (Don't quote me on that though)."

Dwarfcraft Hax Eurorack Demo

"This is a demo of the HAX eurorack module by Dwarfcraft Devices.
You may have guessed that from the title, because I'm REALLY good at titles.
Interesting notes: I did not do a lot of funny stuff this time, but the music is pretty cool. Also, the music in the intro is called "8 events" and it's from an upcoming electronic album of mine."

"TGD DEMO! EURORACK! YES!"
"THE GREAT DESTROYER!
Eurorack edition!
I've been aching to make synth music and modules for years, and now it's finally time!
TGD:E is an adaptation of our flagship pedal, with a lot of added functionality for the modular world.
In addition to the Starve, Gain, Tone, and Volume controls we have CV in for gain and tone, and a CV output, blasting varied signals from audio rate square waves to bursts of LFO.
As you would expect, TGD:E will fuzz up your signal like there's no tomorrow, and the old "unplug the lead" trick works just as well on the module as it does on the pedal, always a crowd pleaser. "WOW THAT PERSON HAS MAGIC ELECTRIC SOUND HANDS!"
Only you and we will know the truth, you're a smart shopper with excellent taste in synthesizer modules."
