"This vintage Jen SX-1000 analogue synthesizer is in full working order and complete with all the coloured control caps and the 7 original patch cards (Brass 1, Brass 2; Piano, Flute; Violin, Cello; Hammond Organ 1, Hammond Organ 2; Human Voice 1, Human Voice 2; Synthesizer, Electronic Drum; Blank Patch Card).
There is some cosmetic damage to the left side panelling, but it has not affected the structural integrity, nor the sound of the synth. It still sounds fantastic and I'm loathed to loose such a beautiful item.
The Synthetone SX-1000 is an old Italian mono-synth.
It has a single analog DCO with three waveforms: sawtooth, square, and PWM (Pulse Width Modulation).
There is an analog filter (12dB/octave) with cutoff, resonance, and LFO modulation.
There is also a simple ADSR envelope for shaping your sounds.
In addition there are also white/pink noise generators a glide effect and a vibrato effect.
It's known for fairly stable tuning too."

"This was first created in 1973 and was one of Roland's first synths. This is also one of the first synths ever to feature real (analog) aftertouch and it works wonderfully.
All the preset toggle switches are present (I believe the Filter Manual switch may have been repaired during its lifetime) and everything is 100% functional, and sounding amazing."
