David recording the Yamaha SY-1 for Necromonkey
Published on Apr 4, 2015 RothHandle
This video gives you an idea of the size of the SY-1.
"Things are really falling into place at Roth Händle V in Sollentuna.
This last Saturday we had our sort of opening party with three live bands playing...Pentapolar birds, Gösta Berlings saga and Switch opens. It was truly an amazing night.
Today we continued working on the new Necromonkey album. The song we are working has the working title Plane. We are very well aware that this is a pretty crappy name but its what we are working on. Today we started off by recording and double tracking a Mini Moog bass line. The Mini Moog sounded great of course but we wanted to add a different texture so we overdubbed a Yamaha DX-100 with an almost Seinfeld sounding bass."
EMX1Config 2.02 - Korg EMX-1 pattern & song organiser
Published on Apr 4, 2015 Phil Tipping
No audio in this one. Just letting you know this is out there.
"Overview of program for organising patterns & songs for a Korg Electribe EMX-1 Music Production Station. Can also edit song chains & pattern playlists and assign waveforms for drum & synth parts. It processes saved emx files offline, so a way of transferring to/from the computer is reqd., such as a SmartMedia or SD card.
Video has no audio; captions only.

Magnetic Field: Voyager 12
Published on Apr 3, 2015 Miguel d'Oliveira
"track made with a DSI prophet 12 + Moog Voyager (run though a strymon Timeline + Blue Sky pedals).
Every single pass was edited (chopped, reversed, etc...) + processed a great deal (pitch-shifted, time-stretched, etc ...) in Ableton Live."
Pedals on a Prophet 12
Published on Jan 25, 2015 Miguel d'Oliveira
"Running a prophet 12 through 3 pedals (Strymon Blue Sky + Timeline and a Moog Clusterflux) trying to add character to the sound of a factory preset.
I could have made the texture a bit more interesting by running MIDI into the P12 and using both hands to tweak the controls on the pedals."
So There's That

"Funky disco track or something in the vicinity.
Short track I wrote as an excuse to go crazy with the Monopoly."

"Vintage new old stock for an SF805 Modulation Source module from the Studiomaster Studiofex system. Studiomaster described the Studiofex as "a fully modular studio effects system which brings together both the features and the performance which today's music demands". The module is 4U high and utilizes +/- 15 volts DC. It comes in the original foam padded box, it has the original manual with full installation and operating instructions, mounting scrws and decal for rear panel as well as a pinout diagram for the connector socket."
A description I found on the Internet claims:
'The SF805 Modulation Source is capable of producing not only regular, cyclic voltages with all the smoothness of a sinewave, bit also other waveshapes, trigged single sweeps, single controlled modulation depth and even signal envelope following modulation. Two outputs are provided, each with an independent DEPTH control so that two devices can be modulated simultaneously.'

KORG POLY 61 with MIDI + Filter & Env Mods

"UPGRADES:
• MIDI In & MIDI Thru (Both use Channel 6)
• Realtime knob control over the Cutoff, Resonance, Attack, Decay, Sustain, & Release
The Korg Poly 61 is an amazing sounding synthesizer, great for those woozy sounding BOC style pads, as well as basses, and unusual sounds that you can't quite get on a Roland.
With this unit, you won't have to worry about all of the common issues the Poly 61 is known for (leaky battery, bad keys, etc)."
