"Also included is the Obimagix 6000 controller box from Volt Crafty electronics. The Oberheim Matrix 6/6R were difficult to program using the face buttons. This box allows you to control 72 parameters of the Matrix without any menu diving. Just select your parameter and turn the knob. It is a GODSEND.

ALSO included is a midi merger box from Midi Solutions. It allows you to plug the Obimagix and a midi keyboard in at the same time.

All in all, it is the complete package to make this vintage synthesizer a fully functioning and pleasurable instrument."

"An evening session with the Alesis Andromeda.
This track has a light and a dark part - as so many things in life :-).

Four minimalistic MIDI sequences were prerecorded on the MIDIbox SEQ V4, the rest has been improvised, i did not know what to play before and used the A6 pitchbender for live transposing. Two hands were not nearly enough for this one, that's why everything might not be perfectly timed, but then it was a completely DAW-free session and a great evening!
