When the Calculator Breaks by Vedic Space Program on the Cwejman S1

"This track was recorded and mixed live with no overdubs using a Beatstep Pro as the sequencer, a fairly rare Cwejman S1 MK1 (serial number S1-020) and various eurorack modules.

The MK 1 version of the S1 has the same layout and architecture as the MKII, with the exception of:
two less oscillator waveforms in the oscillator section: no saw+triangle or saw+pulse
two less LFO waveforms: no Random Slew 1 or Random Slew 2.

The S1 MK1 has MIDI and CV. The MIDI seems to be configure the same as on the MKII.

There's very little information on the internet about the much rarer MK1 version, some of which suggests that there's no MIDI.

The beats are inspired by John Bonham's epic groove from When the Levee Breaks"

All sounds live from the modular synthesizer.
( recorded from mixer straight to Gopro audio input so a bit loud and lo-fi, we are working on improvement ;)

Details on the MIDI kit via CHD:

"P6-KBD MIDI retrofit enables Korg Polysix to be controlled via MIDI. You can remotely control the keyboard and speed of the arpeggiator by MIDI commands. The instrument works like polyphonic MIDI sound expander.

Features:

The instrument's keyboard is controlled manually and by MIDI Note On/Off commands simultaneously.
The keyboard can be transposed in whole range of MIDI notes 0~127.
Four modes of key priority can be chosen: Last / Higher / Lower / None.
The instrument's tone generators can be detuned (in semitone steps) by MIDI Pitch Bend command. The bend range is from 0 to ±24 semitones.
Any receiving MIDI channel or OMNI mode can be selected via SysEx message.
Arpeggiator can be synchronized with internal instrument's tempo generator or with external MIDI clock.
All original features of the instrument are not changed and it can be used the same way as before the interface installation.
Installation of interface into the instrument is very easy.
