"Recorded Live July 28, 2015. All Source is Multi-tracked Modular Synth, later mixed in Pro Tools HDx. Additional Processing with Eventide H8000 + Strymon Big-Sky."
"You'll need headphones or some good speakers to hear all of this. Laptop speakers just won't give you the full bottom end where a lot of this is happening...! Moog Sonic6 "played" via a Q960 sequencer... you can't beat it...;)"
Acid 8 Twisted Electrons (Jam 1) & PO-12 Published on Aug 8, 2015 space travel made easy
"Little jam with Twisted Electrons Acid 8 and Teenage Engineering PO-12 Drum Machine. Just programmed both really quickly for a jam to show the kind of sounds the Acid 8 can come up with.
This is by no means a finished song and just touches on what the little Acid 8 is capable of. I cannot recommend this little Acid machine enough. You need one in your life. Such fun just to jam with, patterns etc can easily be copied and pasted on the fly as you jam."

Breakin' n' Enterin' (U.S.-TV Cutscene 1983)"

"So a while ago, we linked to a video that you all seemed to like very much.
It was from the extended TV version of 1983 documentary Breakin' n Enterin', and featured Egyptian Lover, one of the masters of the Roland-TR808 drum machine, giving a brief tutorial on how to use the box (filmed, we believe, around 1981). You can watch it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yqXayq... [embed above]
Now, given how popular FunkinEven's recent MPC tutorial for FACT TV also was, when we heard that the Egyptian Lover was in London this Summer, we asked if he was down to recreate the scene for 2012. Being a total gent, he was up for it, and built a beat live for us in his hotel room after performing at Blunted. Of course the speakers that we brought didn't work, so the Lover ended up plugging his 808 straight into the hotel alarm clock, which made it all even cooler.
Filmed by Kamil Dymek"
And one of the classic tracks that made everyone love the 808:
The Egyptian Lover - Egypt, Egypt

"One of 1984's finest. Born Greg Broussard, The Egyptian Lover started off doing his thing as a Los Angeles DJ doing parties at the LA Sports Arena, and later putting his stamp on the hip-hop/electro scene with this memorable song that I still play to this day!!!! You can see this brother performing and coming to a town near you. Man, I feel like breakdancing right damn now, but my arthritis won't let me LOL"
"Here's the oscillator from the AJH Synth MiniMod voice which is truly one of the best synths I've heard (modular or otherwise). Not something I take to saying lightly as I'm not one to announce something big like that but really it's awesome!
I've tried to demo how the raw character of the oscillators are while showing how these go much further than the Minimoog Model D that the circuits are modelling.
I'll have videos of every module in the MiniMod series as well as system overviews looking at the voice as a whole.
As always hit like and subscribe for more videos every week and check the Patreon link in the description to see how you can support my channel.

"This auction is Keio Electronics Lab (Korg) Mini Pops 5 analog drum machine. This unit was built by Keio Electronics Lab, which was the original name for Korg! This machine was originally designed to attached to your favorite organ where it could then be connected up to a speaker and set to accompany your playing with only a touch of the "magic" metal bar on the front of the unit! Today, these are very popular for "circuit benders" and other modification to create very cool drum machines!
This unit is unfortunately untested due to the lack of the power cord and the fact that I don't want to ruin one of these very, very rare units! The unit is in great physical condition though, having only minor scratches and dust..."
