A patch with a lot more randomness going on. During the first minute you hear the original sequence coming from the Arturia Beatstep. After that the Beatstep syncs the MakeNoise Wogglebug MK2 via the gate out. The wogglebug then sends gate signals (burst) to the Phenol via the Phenols "external in". With short decay you can hear more steps being fired of then the Beatstep has programed. For the last touch of randomness the Phenols LFO "Random Out" changes the the LP-Filters "FM in". Other changes are descripted in the video.

"Playing around on the Roland Jupiter 8 analog synthesizer, making use of the board's filtering, resonance, cross-modulation, pitch bender, modulation button, arpeggiator, both ADSRs, and a few other goodies in order to real-time manipulate a single patch.

The Jupiter 8 was used by bands like Journey (Escape), The Cure, Depeche Mode, Cyndi Lauper, Duran Duran (Rio), Men at Work, Queen, Michael Jackson (Thriller), and a bunch of others.

This is fed through a basic reverb module, on the way to the mixing board.

More recordings using this synth are at blitter dot com (Mannequin Depressives, Voltage Control, and Nebulous)."
