Noodling with Reaktor 6 Blocks - Sequencer & Clock Dividers

Published on Oct 21, 2015 Beatworx Studio

"Instrument Download : http://bit.ly/ReaktorSeq02

The first 4 mins is just setting up the connections for the patch, so please be patient for the audio to start playing. The basic idea here is to use a clock divider to spit the incoming clock and send those gate values to modulate oscillator FM, pitch, etc. I do go a bit overboard with patching these gate signals to even run the clocks of the sequencer etc. Towards the later part, a DISTORTION module is added as well and the OSCILLATOR's individual waveforms are routed into it and processed with the same gate signals coming from the clock divider to create some unpredictable tones, also using a secondary step sequencer to modulate LFO, ENVELOPE etc."

Bob Moog Theremin Demo & Performance

Published on Oct 22, 2015 experimentalsynth

"Many years before going to work for Moog Music as marketing manager I was a printed circuit board designer. I met Bob Moog in Asheville and wound up doing the PCB design work on his Multi-Touch Keyboard project. Around this time, Bob hosted a presentation called 'New Vistas 91', a look at some then current happenings in avant garde electronic music.

Bob was gracious enough to let me record the presentation on my then new Video 8 camera. The tape was lost for decades, but recently found and digitized. Unfortunately the audio and video quality is not great, but I feel this is very interesting from a historical perspective, and I offer it as such.

Enjoy,

Chris Stack"

Novation Circuit - Just a little Jam- -CALC-

Published on Oct 22, 2015 -CALC-

"The first 5 minutes of this track are just made from the drum sequencer alone.
I wanted to sit down and explore the Circuit's drum sequencer a bit more so this was a jam from scratch mainly working on that.
The available sounds coupled with the automation recording make them really workable, it's easy to find a groove."

"Vintage Moog Sonic Six synthesizer. It's a low serial MK1 version. The synthesizer is been serviced and in perfect working condition now. It sounds really awesome! Optical it's in nice condition for its age, but there are some scratches on it, wear and tear on the case, two knobs are not original and one knob is missing a small chip (see photo's). We deliver it with the original brochure, a special made cv / gate cable and the power cord with US plug. A converter to 220V is included in the sale if necessary. It's a 110V version and the serial number is: 1006."
