Novation Circuit - battery powered jam session - HQ Audio

Published on Feb 14, 2016 ollilaboratories

"If you like my stuff, please support me at http://music.ollilab.com/

I got the Novation Circuit this friday... been playing around for a few minutes with it, and since i have no power in my studio (due to some issues with a line being burnt by the power meter, long story).. i decided to go all battery powered jam session with the circuit (no pun intended).

All you hear is the circuit, no other FX and/or instruments.. recorded straight into line in on my Zoom Q4 recorder with no post processing whatsoever. Sorry for the crappy low light conditions. Audio however is HQ which is the most important part.

Use headphones and/or proper speakers as the bass goes pretty low at times.

Hope you can enjoy it ! BoOoM !"

Sunday evening experiment

Published on Feb 14, 2016 Alba Ecstasy

"Maybe this video will be useful for those who want to see how an A-148 Sample&Hold from Doepfer may work. The S&H is feeded by the A-118 Noise - Colored and Random outputs and triggered by the Doepfer Dark Time. A-148 is modulating the Ripples which is filtering the Z3000 mkII plus some white noise from A-118. Everything is passing through Clouds in Pitch-shifter/time-stretcher mode (not so much used as I use the reverb of it).
Well, it's Sunday evening, my belly is full with Falafel (home made) lol so, you may find this video, a little 'full' too!

"Vintage, Collector's Item. Excellent Condition

The second synth Yamaha ever made and a pre-cursor to the legendary CS-80. Raw, powerful bass, brilliant with distortion. Soaring high leads and a beast with some delay.

Full control over Cutoff, Resonance, Envelope, Filter Env, Vibrato, Porta + More. Fully touch sensitive with AFTERTOUCH - and the pressure sensitivity can be assigned to volume, filter env etc. Cosmetically, a little bit dusty around the edges, but the playing surface is perfect and all the controls are in excellent condition. It's a whole lot of fun to play... Recently serviced and working A1."
