"SUIKO ST20 is extremely rare and most strange japanese electronic musical instruments
originally made for japanese traditinal music circa. 1980.
it's built in cool brown custom suitcase like EMS synth, one side of the suitcase is a speaker
so you can play without external amp or mixer but don't worry it has audio output too.
keyboard itself is built in beautiful brown metal plate, look cool!
these keyboards were very expensive and made very limited quantities those days
so i'ts very hard to find even in Japan nowadays...
this is your first and last chance to get this vintage gem!
it has 2 rows of button keyboard
this keyboard specially designed for playing glissando easily like koto(japanese harp)
front row of the keyboard is japanese scale,so just playing randomly you can easily get exotic japanese melody!
there are various switch and dial for special japanese tuning and sustain and octave switch
three sounds are selectable, shyakuhachi(japanese bamboo flute),koto(japanese harp) and pipe organ
sounds are very analog, warm and strange!"

Original Blank SH-1000 Patch Sheets

"This auction is for 8 Patch Sheets for the SH-1000 Synthesizer.
Fascinatingly Vintage, and Undeniably Rare.
The photos are of the actual item. The size is almost exactly 1/2 of a standard piece of paper. One sided; free of writing. These have no real binding really and are barely held together at the ends with glue, which I will try to preserve."

Soundfly Tutorial on How to Play the Synth Bass from Bruno Mars “24K MAGIC
This one in via MATRIXSYNTH supporter, Soundfly. You'll find the full tutorial and track on Soundfly here. BTW, Soundfly has quite a few courses online, so if this particulary tutorial does not interest you, be sure to check out the rest.
"Step 1 — Oscillators
This is a thick dual-oscillator tone that, to my ear, sounds like that of the classic Minimoog (I have yet to confirm what synth was actually used, so feel free to hip us to any insider knowledge you may have in the comments!). To get this tone, we’ll need to set both our oscillators to a sawtooth waveform, with one tuned an octave below the other."

and two larger floppy discs."
According to one of the floppies the brand is Street Electronics CORP. and the copyright date is 1988.
Update via Dave O Mahony in the comments: "Looks like the Echo 2 speech sound card add on for the Apple II. Seems it used the same chip as the Speak & Spell! [link] Auction doesn't include the card - just software and speaker!"
via Wikipedia:
"The Echo II was a plug-in expansion card, speech synthesizer card for the Apple II and Apple IIc personal computers that allowed applications to use speech synthesis. The Echo II used the TMS5220 speech synthesis chip to synthesize speech. The Echo II software could synthesize either unlimited text-to-speech using stitched phonemes, or play back raw LPC data for specific words, with resulting higher speech quality.
LPC (linear predictive coding) was the speech synthesis technology used, which allowed applications to encode speech data in a compact form. The Echo II used the TMS 5220 LPC Speech Chip which was popular in other speech synthesizers"
