"Compressing, filtering and distorting a drum beat and bass pattern from the Elektron Analog Rytm with the Schippmann Ebbe Und Flut. The Ebbe Und Flut is two 4 pole multi mode filters with 12 modes each, it also has a built in compressor and distortion. There are many control options including envelope followers, envelope generators, sample and hold and an LFO."

"Dave Smith Instruments (DSI) Prophet Rev2 effects demo. I start off by initializing a basic patch then proceed by demoing the new built-in effects including the delays, chorus, flanger, phaser, ring modulator, distortion and reverb. The Rev2 is DSI's newest analog synth which is an upgrade of their Prophet 08 synth. No other effects or processing was done, the sound was recorded straight from the synthesizers in stereo. Recorded at the DSI office showroom in San Francisco, CA."

Improving Intonation using the AJH Synth V-Scale (Part 1: Moog Mother-32)

"This is the first of two videos using the Eurorack-format AJH Synth V-Scale to fine-tune the intonation of an analog module (such as the oscillator built into the semi-modular Moog Mother-32) to track pitch over a 5 octave range. The procedure outlined in this video – using a reference oscillator for comparison, as well as a dual-trace ‘scope such as the Mordax DATA to see tuning differences – can be used to tune most oscillators that allow you to adjust their tracking; the V-Scale happens to be exceptional at this as it provides front-panel access to a high-precision multi-turn trim control while also functioning as a high-quality buffered multiple.

"Korg Electribe 2 solo session running through some recent patterns. I try to focus more on song composition, building a theme and then adding variations, bridges etc. I recorded the mix on a cassette with a 3-head high-end Denon cassette deck from the 80's for some saturation and natural tape compression.
