Critter & Guitari - 1,024,192,512 Possibilities
Published on Feb 14, 2018 Critter & Guitari
"This video is a very tiny example of the over 1 Billion sonic combinations possible when using three Organelles running the '1008' patch!
The '1008' patch features 9 synths/samplers, 8 sequencers, and 14 effects. Choose one of each to build up a sound. There are 1,008 possible combinations (9x8x14)!
With three Organelles using '1008' there are 1,024,192,512 possible combinations (1008x1008x1008)!
These three are connected via MIDI in a circle, so MIDI goes out of Organelle A into Organelle B, out of Organelle B into Organelle C, and from Organelle C back to Organelle A. It can be a little unwieldy (like at the end, when the loop keeps getting retriggered!) but also lead to cool configurations!"

Morgasmatron Panel Overview
Published on Feb 14, 2018 intellijel
"Here is a quick panel overview of the Intellijel Morgasmatron.
This is the third generation of Intellijel’s much loved Korgasmatron filter designed in collaboration with David G. Dixon. For obvious reasons, we considered naming it the Korgasmatron III. But once we experienced the purity and range of its finely re-tuned filters; the warmth of its soft-clipping; the beefiness of its Q-drive; the aggressive howl of its all new overdrive circuit; the additional Xfade options; and its clangorous new ring modulation capabilities, we knew it was something much more than a Korgasmatron III. It was a MORgasmatron!
The Morgasmatron features two completely independent six-mode filters (labeled “A” and “B”) — each with its own mode-select knob, input, output, cutoff, resonance, Q-drive and gain control. Each filter has a pair of CV inputs (one with a built-in attenuator and the other with a built-in attenuverter) for modulating cutoff, and another CV input for modulating resonance. Both filters self-oscillate at maximum Q, and produce pitched sine waves that track the two separate 1V/OCT inputs.
You can use the two filters independently of one another, or you can use them together (in either a series or parallel connection) and smoothly crossfade between them using either the XFADE knob or the XFADE CV input and built-in attenuverter. You can flip the DRY switches to instantly bypass either or both filters; invert the phase of Filter B; or overdrive Filter A by switching on the new Overdrive circuit. A MIX output provides (as you might suspect) a mixed output of the two filters."

An Update on the Upcoming VC340 from Behringer
via Behringer off of one of the forums:
[P.S. you can find a demo of the prototype by MrFirechild here.]
"I like to discuss the status of the VC340 with you and appreciate your feedback.
As we have often explained to you, our pricing model is defined by a straightforward "bottom up" calculation, which means we multiply our manufacturing cost by a factor of approximately 3 in order to arrive at the US MAP (Minimum Advertised Price).
This will allow us to pay for our development and manufacturing cost but also enable distributors and retailers to distribute the product to you and equally pay for their staff.
In terms of the Vocoder VC340 we are struggling a bit. This is a pretty exotic synthesizer and many people told us that we're totally crazy to invest so much time and effort to bring it back to life.
People who are familiar with technology understand that this is a very complex analog product as it contains over 3,000 components of specified with very low tolerances.
While we have not decided to actually manufacture the product, I personally like to bring it back as it's such a beautiful instrument. In fact it's a synthesizer I feel very sentimental about as it was one of those synths I always wanted but could not afford when I was a kid!
Now here's where we are:
1.) If our order book covers at least 1,000 units, it would allow us to sell the VC340 for US$ MAP 999.99.
2.) If we can collect orders for more than 5,000 units, we could actually lower the price to US$ 799,99.
3.) If we cannot gather at least orders for 1,000 units, we unfortunately would have to abandon the project as we would loose too much money. In this case I have at least my own prototype:-).
Please share with us your level of interest. Thanks for your help - I truly hope we can make this happen:-)

via the seller: "Polymoog synth requiring some attention, as ever. I had this serviced around 10 years ago, it was in use regularly and fully working for 7 years or so, sounded superb. Unfortunately it's been in storage for the last 3 years and now needs servicing again.
Powers up fine and there's sound, some notes down the bottom end are not working, (dividers?), around 8 or 9 of the buttons don't seem to function anymore and the envelope doesn't seem to be working as it should. It's also missing the 2 wood effect strips from the sides, and one of the screw in feet underneath has walked. A couple of the keys are slightly raised but still function. There may be other minor issues but I'm unable to test it fully with some of the buttons not functioning.
It's by no means the usual Polymoog basket-case and should be easily repairable by the right person with the time and expertise to do it. It's a very late serial number so most of the commons issues with these had been ironed out by that time."
