"Beautiful example from the dominant 1970's Oberheim brand. I have owned this OB-XA for the a couple of years now, and it has been cared for and stored in my home, away from any deleterious situations and substances (i.e. smoke, sea air, bat guano). This particular OB-XA has been professionally fitted with MIDI I\O back in the USA, has a 120 factory program memory, and comes with numerous spare chips and components, printed service manual and user manual, an OG Oberheim OB-XA pedal and a less than OG but much newer vinyl cover. I will also provide step-down transformer to 240 V from the synthesizers' 120 V output."

In tune, all sounds and functions work properly, and has very awesome MIDI capabilities...a real piece of magic. "Just to show you that Yamaha released in 1986 a program to communicate with a DX7 and save/import voices.
It was called 'YRM-304, Voicing Program II'.

I heard the original CX5M FM synth engine was 4-Op vs. the DX7's 6-Op. Anyone know what the CX5M II was. The listing implies it's the DX7 and the video above shows the CX5M II patch editor for the DX7, but is the internal sound engine 6-Op as well, or does it just allow editing of the DX7's 6-Op engine?
