Roland TR-707 with custom eproms, CV pitch and DinSync RE-303
wotatwaat
"A modified Roland TR-707 with custom eproms. This adds 8 banks of sounds. There is also pitch control for the instruments with CV. Some bends as well. Jamming with the Dinsync RE-303. Here an LFO is modulating a couple of the 707 instrument pitches."

Patch of the Week 81: Celebrating the X Files Theme
Korg
"It’s the eeriest whistle we can recall, and we’re bringing it to you in the fourth installment of Patch of the Week Vol. 18 – Halloween Horror History using wavestate’s pianos, pads, and of course a sinewave."

Halloween (1978) - Opening Theme (Movie Version) Cover
KOSmusic
"This is my cover of one of John Carpenter's most famous horror themes: Halloween (1978) - Opening Theme (Movie Version).
I have always loved this music composed of piano sound and John Carpenter's unmistakable synths, that make it truly one of a kind and perfectly suited for a movie that has to keep in suspense!
To get as close as possible to the nuances of the original piano, I chose not to use the MIDI sequencer but to record it live to give it greater expressiveness, a slight irregularity (in particular at the beginning of the track where the piano increases the speed and then stabilizes) and realism.
I used the CS1x sounds for the synth sound that plays along with the piano (starting at minute 0:15) and the "saw" string sound which starts from minute 1:19."

Z506 Swiss Daisy DSP - Reverb/ADSR/VCA mode
O.Z. Hall
"This is a demo of the Z506 Swiss Daisy DSP module from Zebra Synth (ZebraSynth.net). The module features an ADSR envelope generator, a VCA on the right half of the module. These functions remain the same with all of the different "Modes". The functionality of the left half of the module changes from mode to mode. The modes are VCO, VCF, Digital Delay, Reverb, Dual Resonator.
This is video covers the Reverb mode. The signal path as a high pass filter on the input and a low pass filter (for damping) on the feedback loop from the reverb output back to the reverb input. There is a modulation input to modulate the reverb size from an external control voltage."

Trying to get Emo's trademark sounds on Modular Moog...
noddyspuncture
Note the Minimoog on the top rack.
"So I set myself a challenge - you know, like you do... I wanted to see if I could run through Emo's trademark Moog sounds & effects as seamlessly as possible..? The ones which are used when we play live. And as I don't have 'presets', I need to dial each one in manually..! Some are quite complicated patches so I've made some special, custom leads incorporating switches etc.. so all I have to do is remember to switch the right ones on & off at the right time. I'm having to think ahead and scan the Moog and set the next patch while I'm playing the current one so my mind isn't on the playing, more on getting the next patch up and running as smoothly as possible. It took a few attempts but think I managed it... 😃"
