"This is an extremely clean, gently used prophet 5 rev 3.3 in perfect working condition. There’s one small knick on the back edge (pictured), a couple wood imperfections so small as to almost not be worth mentioning, and a couple scuffs on the bottom from where it sat on the stand (was super bummed to find them). But honestly, without very close inspection, it looks and feels like it could be new.

Recently serviced including refreshed keyboard and upgraded power supply. Comes with original manuals and power cord. Would love to keep it, but am updating the studio and need the funds. May go without saying, but it sounds absolutely incredible!"

Oberheim OB-XA SN 813504 - 8 Voice 120 Patch Model w/ Midi

via this auction "This is priced firm. This synth need just a little TLC on some specific sections, and it ready for the prime time. Even with the Issues described it can still make music as I still use it till the day it goes in the box for sale. It can take 10 to 15 mins to warm up before AutoTune is pressed. After that It is very stable.

All the Bushing are great and no clicks keys, No pot has any scratchiness so thats good. All Knobs and Buttons work aside from the issues described below.
Midi Works as well and the Tape Input works as I put in the factory sound (Minus a few).

The 120 patch are not fully loaded but It can hold that much memory I erased a few towards the end to make room for custom patches. All voices pass Tuning but one of the voice slots fails the tuning.

ALL 8 Voice cards work and the Auto Tune test it Failed Voice card 7. Voice card 7 works if you switch its position to any other slot. So Slot 7 Controlled by the Disable switch means that the switch went bad. To Fix this it should be the 8 Voice Dip Switch.

The Performance section only effect 4 voices out of 8 so that may be Cable harness problem. Aside from those very specific issues every thing else works fully. The Midi works and is what I use all the time. Aside from the mentioned issues every thing works. This is a Big Heavy Synth and will be boxed up well."

SUPERBOOTH 2021: Rabid Elephant Portal Drum Updates

video upload by sonicstate

"We first saw the Rabid Elephant Portal Drum at Superbooth 2019 and it has come on along way since then. With some major improvements over the version that we saw in 2019 the Portal Drum has basically been completely redesigned. The design which we see here is the result of 3 years of development. Any kick drum that takes 3 years to design has gotta have some serious weight behind it."

video upload by sonicstate

"The Torso Electronics T-1 is an algorithmic sequencer and gives you a bunch of interesting ways to start your creative music making process. You can create euclidean sequences, add repeating notes, make arpeggiating patterns, random modulation on all parameters and much much more.

Jonas was on hand to take us through the T-1."

OWL Max Tutorial 8: Gen Synth Voice EP1

video upload by Rebel Technology

"Cherif Hashizume is back with a new tutorial, and this time he is building a complete MIDI monosynth in gen~ for the Lich Eurorack module.

The patch will comprise dual VCOs, VCF, and VCA with an AR envelope. In this episode, we get to try out the new Lich template, and create a simple gen~ patch with dual VCOs: one square wave oscillator and one triangle oscillator, with adjustable waveshape, detuning, and oscillator mix.

Gen is an extension of the Max MSP patching environment from Cycling'74. Gen converts what you build visually into efficient compiled code. And thanks to the OWL platform, patches made with gen~ can be seamlessly compiled and loaded onto hardware, such as the Lich Eurorack module, or Witch desktop synthesizer."
