"Beautiful Sequential Pro One. No introduction needed, simply one of the most enjoyable and powerful monosynth ever made. This unit is in excellent condition with almost no signs of use. Everything has been tested and works like it should. 100% original, knobs, woods, inside/outside. No tricky mods. A pure beast!"

"Formanta UDS fully analog electronic percussion synthesizer. Formanta UDS is soviet version of classic analog beat-box so as Roland TR and Simmons. Synth was prodused in 80-s years in USSR on the same military plant in Kachkanar where well known synth Polivoks was developed.
Sound of UDS is very aggressive and "military". And it looks like the piece of soviet army gear - heavy, khaki colored and studded with knobs. It is very powerfull drum synth. You have 5 independent channels of drum sound synthesis. In every channel you can change: trigger signal sensitivity, base tone pitch, pitch envelope time, amount of pitch modulation, noise/tone ballance, filter's cutoff for noise, accent amount, channel's volume. Then we have additional channel for cymbal and hi-hat synth sounds. UDS has its own onboard drum sequencer with 16 different drum patterns. You can start sequencer, choose one from 16 patterns and change its temp by knob. You can switch every synthesis channel to its preset sound or switch it in "synthesis" mode and then control channel's parameters by 8 knobs. Also you can trig every channel by external trigger source - drum mashine, analog sequencer or electronic drum pad. On its top there are mono sum audio out and stereo audio out. All audio plugs in common jack standart. You can get many cool grooves just using its internal sequencer, not to mention external triggering.

Arp Odyssey MKIII Analog Synthesizer Vintage 1978-1981 demo of sounds 2

video upload by Andy Whitmore

"ARP ODYSSEY MKIII Analog Synthesizer Vintage 1978-1981 Sounds | HQ DEMO & TUTORIAL

The ARP Odyssey is a classic monophonic / duophonic synthesizer. It came out 1972 and was the competitor of the Minimoog. It can be seen as a cutdown version of the ARP 2600 - although some features where added - the highpass filter and the oscillator synchronisation for example. It has the best sync-lead-sounds I ever heard from a synthesizer! The Odyssey is a real classic - and it sounds classic!

The ARP has a lot of features, so it is very flexible: 2 oscillators (VCO 2 can be used as a second LFO), VCO synchronisation, 2 filters (resonant lowpass & non-resonant highpass), ring modulator, sample & hold, noise generator (white & pink noise), 1 LFO, 2 envelopes (ADSR and AR).

There were three versions of the Odyssey. In my video you see an ARP Odyssey MK III, which has the CV/gate jacks - and an external signal input.

The ARP Odyssey was used by many prominent musicians: Klaus Schulze, Kraftwerk, Tangerine Dream, Vangelis, Herbie Hancock, Gary Numan, Pink Floyd, ABBA, Chick Corea, Tony Banks (Genesis), the Carpenters...

Andy Whitmore started life as a top session keyboard player playing on over 50 hit records before turning his hand to music production. He went on to produce 14 top ten hits. He is a pro when it comes to synthesizers, and here explores the ARP Odyssey as part of a brand new series. One of the most iconic synthesizers ever, Andy’s experience with this Arp classic dates back to the mid-‘90s, and he discusses the basics in his exploration of what makes the ARP Odyssey so great."
