The bass (Original ARP2600), sequencer and lead sounds: Moog Minimoog Analog Synthesizer (1978)

The Moog Minimoog Synthesizer is one of the big legendary synths in music history. Used by many pop and rock groups in the 70s, 80s and today. Here can you find the full Minimoog playlist with a lot single sound demos, synth comparisions and one synth demo tracks. Enjoy.

Loscha presses Play: Yamaha PSS-270 Demo 𝓑𝓲𝓵𝓵𝔂 𝓙𝓸𝓮𝓵 𝓙𝓾𝓼𝓽 𝓣𝓱𝓮 𝓦𝓪𝔂 𝓨𝓸𝓾 𝓐𝓻𝓮 has VERY weird instruments

video upload by Edward Jones

"The Yamaha PSS-270 is from the FM Synthesis line of keyboards.
The audio generation is handled by the YM2413 OPLL chip.
The OPLL is very well documented. Please look here for more information - https://www.smspower.org/Development/...
This chip has direct audio out, no DAC required.
One output is the Main voice out, and the other is the Percussion out.
On this unit, the Percussion and Main are both routed through the chorus unit. The chrous is MN3102 and MN3206, controlled by a fixed LFO. There is no feedback on the chorus. This could be added for a much more flangier effect."

Making sounds on the Korg Prologue

video upload by MR TUNA Music

"Has the Korg Prologue been quietly discontinued?? it is one of my all-time favourite synths for its sad-analog, mourning-like Japanese sound and Blade Runner pads. 16 voices of pure VCO goodness and some incredible effects. Its got fantastic build quality (Made in Japan!) and inspires me everytime I play.

Here's some sounds."

"The Moog Source is a monophonic Z80 microprocessor-controlled analog synthesizer manufactured from 1981 to 1985.

The Source was Moog's first synthesizer to offer patch memory storage. The design was also the first (and only) Moog synthesizer to feature a flat-panel membrane keyboard to replace the standard buttons, knobs and sliders, along with multihued panel graphics that were very different from anything Moog offered at the time.

Arguably the closest sounding to the Minimoog than any other Moog from this era. All functions tested in great working order, membrane buttons operate as expected with smooth operation. Power supply has been completely recapped and calibrated.

Serial number: 3330"

"The legendary one-and-only. Pristine completely restored original Arp Odyssey 2800 mki White Face duophonic analog synthesizer from the early 1970's

Sounds incredible and functions perfectly. Much more fullness and more aggressive sonically than the black face and many reissued Korg models.

Fully cleaned, serviced and keyboard reset by the fabulous Switched On synth shop in Austin, TX (original shop that Stranger Things composers Kyle Dixon & Michael Stein worked at).

I put $1200 worth of perfecting this unit and then barely ever used it. Never gigged, has only sat in a nice temperature controlled studio.

This is probably the nicest original early 1970's ARP Odyssey 2800 unit you'll be able to find for sale in 2022.

Forgive these bad photos from a few months ago. The well-lit glamour shot photos and full description of service completed on this will post soon, or just snag this before the sharks get to it.

Cheers!"

"We believe this is a past owner’s combination of bits of 2500 literature, all in a spiral binder - the original manual plus a couple other ARP promotional sheets on the 2500. The colorful one looks like it’s a page taken out of a more complete arp product catalog that included the later version of the 2500."
