"Kickstarter presentation for the Manatee Synthesizer from Fred's Lab.
Manatee is a 16-voice 4-part desktop synthesizer based on a unique Spectral Synthesis engine and various Virtual Analog algorithms. It offers a wide range of characterful digital sounds in compact and sturdy steel case.

"It has all its sliders desoldered, disassembled and internally cleaned and all the deteriorating foam was removed and new fabric material was installed between the faceplate and controls. All controls have been cleaned and sprayed, the power supply has all new capacitors, the internal memory battery has been replaced, and it has been tuned up and calibrated. The original factory programs have been reloaded. Back in the mid 80's I sent the synth back to Roland in California to have it updated for MIDI. It works perfectly both sending and receiving."
