ESK - Haken Continuum + Waldorf Kyra 2

"Another Haken and Kyra Demo. Not playing something meaningful, it's more about the sound.
In this Patch i use a lot of Parameter modulations with the Y direction on the Haken.
The Haken Continuum Fingerboard as a Midi controller for an Waldorf Kyra synthesizers.
The Waldorf Kyra is perfect in combination with the Haken because it updates all voices/multitimbral channels simultaneously while changing parameters. It has no MPE, but it is 8 channel multitimbral and so you can use it with every MPE controller. Only drawback, there are no global controllers (like modulationwheel), but with the Haken i don’t need them.
No external effects are used.

It sports dual oscillators with 4 footages each, Moog ladder filter as well as white and pink noise. Watch the video of this very unit in action.
The Random Music button triggers random notes but can also be routed to control the LFO of the noise and filter sections to create rhythmic, drum-like patterns - here that snappy filter comes to good use.
The LFO triggering is stable so dialing in the tempo to an existing track is a breeze

"Elka Wilgamat III with custom controller keyboard modified with foot switch control access.
Just back from service and sounding heavenly.
The 4 buttons on top of the keyboard substitute the rare foot-switch - giving access to the drum fills (3 different fills for every rhythm pattern!) start/stop, minor and 7th chords - If you check my video on YouTube you’ll get it.
The original main unit is in good condition with signs of wear of some areas.
The keyboard looks almost like new.

An extra output for the string sound has been added for easy phase shifting routing.
This is a unique auto-accompaniment beast with a string machine, a monophonic bass synth with individual volumes for each section, mute options, 4 bass line variations, cut-off and resonance filter, 4 different chord sounds and of course an analog drum machine with mute option for individual drum sound and volumes for the 5 main drum sounds. You can play the string machine and bass synth like a keyboard, independently from the auto comp section so it's a monophonic synth and string machine as well!"

Excellent condition unit that plays great, it has not been used much - just back from service.
These are rare - crème della creme string machines - Solina String Ensemble but better - no kidding.
A few smaller signs of wear at the very ends of the front panel probably caused by the hinges of the lid, some smaller areas of wear on the sides and underneath the unit.
