Behringer Pro-800: Retro/Vintage Lead Presets. Demo. No talk

video upload by Anton Anru

"Retro Leads is a collection of 50 patches for Behringer Pro-800. The bank is dedicated to vintage/retro/lo-fi sound: detuned, noisy, tape-style with flutter, wow, jitter, and it covers a wide range of tones: warm and soft, cold and distant, bright and dark, static and evolving.
The presets are expressive: they are velocity-sensitive, aftertouch opens the filter, modwheel adds vibrato.

🔮 Get the soundset: https://antonanru.sellfy.store/p/pro-...

The soundset is suitable for many genres: ambient, electronica, IDM, trip-hop, lounge, downtempo, funk, jazz, pop, chill out, new age, cinematic, trance, deep, progressive, techno, breaks, jungle, drum and bass, dub and others.

Performed by Dmitry Chemyrev.
Drum and chord samples from the demo are not included to the soundset."

"It’s basically one of the takes on Boss DR-55, authentically made in Japan. as far as I’m aware - these were sold as diy kits back in 80s, but functionally are identical to Boss DR-55, sound is also the same/almost the same.

please, NOTE, it’s been modified to be powered from … eurorack offset voltage.

power now is on minijack socket. you just take an offset from eurorack system, and plug it in to power the drum machine, directly, using eurorack patch cable. it will take any voltage from approx. 5v up to 12v.

it also has analogue clock output, and cymbal trigger output, so will sync with everything perfectly.

currently it won’t accept any other power sources, but it’s a very mod friendly machine! as mentioned above, they were sold as diy kits at some point, so they beg you for modifications. I believe it even can be modified to fit into eurorack housing, and it shouldn’t be hard."

Buchla/Tiptop 207T | Classic Six Channel Mixer with Mic Pre-Amp

video upload by Cinematic Laboratory

"The 207T may be a no-brainer for 200T series collectors and I love every HP of it exactly for that reason. But outside the 200T universe it may be too big and too limited. It doesn't have volume VCA's or any form of automation except for panning the outer channels. The idea is to use the 292T for VCA duties. There's no master volume either, but my final case output takes care of this. It allows send/return patches and six channels is more than enough to combine most modules in the 200T series. The Pre-Amp however, is a winner. During #jamuary2024 I had a few issues with bringing my 'alchemist' box to modular level. With the 207T it just works and sometimes it even came in too hot."

One of my favorite tracks from the early 80s.
Sweet Dreams by The Eurythmics (1983)

All synth parts made with the Roland Juno-60 (1982)

This cover song series contains my own recreations of my favourite songs from the last 50 years. The original music from which I take inspiration belong to their respective owners. I recreate tracks only for personal passion and to pay homage to these tracks.

My intention is not to create covers that sound exactly like the original (if you want to hear identical sounds, please listen the original). It's more of an inspiration with my sounds from the old synthesizers from the past and of course the great appreciation for the original performers and producers."
