"Roland Jupiter-8 for sale. Meticulously serviced over way too many hours to be better than the rest. We don't cut corners here - the reliability of our instruments is our top priority, so we invest all the time love and money it takes to get things right. As a result, this instrument works like new and sounds incredible! This one's pre-MIDI, but we can install an Encore Electronics MIDI retrofit at an additional cost. This is an earlier 12 bit unit. Tuning was improved in later 14 bit units. If you'd like this unit converted to a 14 bit one for an additional fee, please contact us to discuss."

"Here is a restored Jupiter 8, all the power supply capacitors have been replaced as well as the transformer with one manufactured by ROSEN SOUND. The CPU circuit has been replaced with a model manufactured by SYNTHWORKS and the control switch for the LFO/Modulation knob has also been replaced. The controls are in good condition and operate smoothly, and the dust covers have been replaced. There is a modification on the back that I personally never use, but from what I can see it is connected with each of the controller boards to the VCO LFO MOD section and the VCA MOD section. I have seen other JP8s with the same modification in the past but I never asked what it was for exactly. Of course for a 40 year old synthesizer there is some cosmetic wear, but it is possible to replace the side panels with new ones and the heat sink as well. The front panel was damaged at the hatch and rear, but can be dented quite easily and repainted."

Why The King Korg Neo is Special (also let's make a patch from scratch on it)

video upload by Oscillator Sink

"The King Korg Neo is a synthesizer which is special to me.

In this video I’m going to explain why that is, talk about some of the things that I enjoy about this instrument and touch on some things which I think could be better, and then explore the sound and workflow of the synthesis engine by way of making a patch from scratch.

Chapters:
00:00:00 Intro
00:00:40 Why the KKN is special to me
00:04:02 Underestimating the synth
00:05:24 It's multi-timbral and that's good
00:06:33 Exploring the powerful oscillators
00:32:15 The filter is great (but could be even better)
00:36:37 Oscillator drift makes everything better
00:38:06 It's proper stereo
00:40:04 The stuff I don't like
00:40:15 The V-Patch is limited
00:43:07 The reverbs are disappointing
00:46:08 Let's make a patch from scratch

"Hello there! In this 3rd installment of my Exploring Arbhar mini-series, I go over a couple of patches that come from the buffers made in the previous video (or similar buffers) This is just a taste of the kinds of sounds and music you can make once you take the time to craft your Arbhar buffers… Enjoy!"

Son Lux x Expressive E - Don't Say It's Too Late

video upload by Expressive E

"Since the beginning of the Osmose adventure, we've wanted to record our beloved MPE synth alongside a human voice. 🤍 Ryan Lott answered the call, recording "Don't Say It's Too Late," a new Son Lux song specially written on and for Osmose. Kindly enough, he let us capture this first intimate performance of the song at his studio in Los Angeles."
