Roland SR-JV80-02 Orchestral Expansion Demo

"Multitracked demo of SR-JV80-02 -expansion from 1992. Roland made great job with this one (as most of them) and it still sounds very good. Expansion was installed to Roland JV-1010 and Yamaha AN200 was used for tweaking (mostly for filter and envelopes). Eventide Space was used for some sounds.

"A demo of the Yamaha CS1x synthesizer. This early entry into virtual analog synthesis is more than just a trance machine.

Patches programmed and played by so.it.goes. No effects added. What you hear is direct from the synth. Each part is from one patch only. There is no multi-tracking on any part.

Pros:
- Can make complex sounds with the multilayering
- Excellent arpeggiator with very useable patterns

Cons:

- Filter sounds harsh and is quite steppy
- Some of the onboard FX sound like garbage"
