Unlike the traditional Sample & Synthesis (S&S) approach, the VL1 generates sound using an internal model of each instrument. This comprehensive model captures the entire behavior of the instrument, enabling the VL1 to produce realistic transitions between notes, not just the notes themselves. The result is an impressively faithful reproduction of real instruments, making the synthetic sounds of an S&S synth seem almost comical by comparison.
The VL1's controls are specifically designed to enhance the "live instrument" experience, with unique effects tailored to whether a wind, string, or analog synth sound is being recreated. "Completely refurbished and serviced 1970’s Moog Sonic Six. Serial number 1734. Plays and sounds incredible, including the built in speaker. Excellent cosmetic condition with some light wear on exterior case and beautiful cosmetic condition inside on the synth itself.
