I’ll also dive into how to adjust the sustain portion of the bass sound, for the variation that happens in the bridge—it's subtle but makes a huge difference in the overall vibe.

I had the pleasure of working with Gary one unforgettable summer—collaborating on a song for a movie and a couple of tracks for one of his albums. He was not only a gifted singer and songwriter but also an incredibly innovative electronic musician. Gary had a special kind of energy that made every session inspiring.
