I’ll be at SynthFest France from Friday 11 April to Sunday 13 April in Nantes (France), where you’ll find me at the Threetom stand. Feel free to drop by, have a chat, and pick up any of your favourite Threetom modules directly—I’ll have the whole lineup with me for you to play with (and available for purchase too of course!).
I will also be showing a new small Eurorack case I made in an exciting eco-friendly material! I’ve made a little teaser video of me building said case.
If you’re around on Friday at 15h, I’m giving a talk called “A Wavefolder is Not a Wave Folder.” It’s a deep dive into simulating synthesizer circuits and the unexpected way in which a wavefolder works.

"Quite likely the best LM-1 Drum Computer on the planet, improved by Dani at Hideaway, one of the best techs in the world for this sort of classic gear.
From Dani: here is a link to test recording I made of the custom VCA retrofit I designed for this LM-1 along with a couple of pictures of my custom VCA pcb and the Kenton MIDI retrofit I installed: https://soundcloud.com/hideaway-studio/12-channel-midi-vca-test-segue-01 That mod I designed is a full blown custom pcb in there sporting a midi controlled VCA on every drum channel (which can be switched on/off if required) - its the only one of its kind to date.
In excellent cosmetic condition and perfect working order. UK voltage. Serial number 256. Ultra-careful packing 24GBP."

"PPG Wave 2.3 Digital Sythesizer for sale in excellent condition and perfect working order.
Serviced and freshly checked over by James Walker and playing beautifully. In very good condition. Commission sale on behalf of the owner.
It has been maintained for the owner by James Walker and he's just completed a fresh checkover and assessment:
The synth is all working well, there are no noisy pots and all the front panel controls work flawlessly. The original LCD has been changed to a high brightness VFD which gives better performance and contrast. It also negates the need for a high frequency power supply for the old LCD backlight which was removed with the original LCD.
All the voice cards are working and the filters sound matched as much as is possible.
Some of the keyboard j-wire contacts show signs of requiring alignment and cleaning which will be completed before shipping so the synth is working completely without any issues."

"The only problem with this synthesizer is that it has a bent B key, see pictures. The key works just fine, but it is off-centered from the rest. I injured the key many years ago while carrying it from the car to a practice space. I also included pictures of the auto-tuning screen. There are working 16 oscillator voice so this is quite a useful feature after you first turn it on. The A6 could auto-tune your notes all the time, but I have that setting turned off and generally just do it when I first turn it on."
