I’m using the BINOME DRUM SYSTAMA again, but this time we’re exploring the classic techno rumble kick, the HEAAVYYY SOVAGE way, of course!
Ingredients:
• 1x BINOME
• 1x FAILLE TEMPORELLE
• 1x FONTE (you can use any mult and inverter)
• 1x MELEE (you can use any mono mixer, but you’ll miss the extra grit)
And we jump straight into an unavoidable freestyle jam right after the setup.

RK006 from MIDI to TR-606 DINSYNC

"The RK006 is a tiny true connecting powerhouse. MIDI Outputs are multi function, they can switch from MIDI to GATE or even PWM(CV) signals.
It has 10 built-in presets you can use for practical use cases. This short video demonstrates one of them: the conversion of MIDI to DINSync. DINSync (or Sync24) is an older synchronisation protocol used by various classic drumcomputers like the TR808 and TR606.
With the RK006 website or settings app you can even design your own port configuration if you have special conversions in mind. It works standalone for your live setup but is also directly accessible from a DAW when you use the RK006 as a USB MIDI Interface.

Waldorf Wave - full working order but messy

"Selling my Wave Waldorf (the standard 16 voices / 61 keys / blue model), with usual hydraulic cylinder failure, and, sadly, paintwork also started to deteriorate seriously (especially on the right side). Apart from that, Synth is perfectly functional, with fan replaced by a silent one (noctua), floppy drive replace by a HXC floppy simulator."

The bad point: it has one nasty mark on the front panel above the VCO-1 control section and two or three marks at the front of the modulation section, which ought really to be re-furbished sometime.
Apart from that, it is very good. Everything sounds great and works as it should, including the MIDI conversion. [VEMIA note: I used to have a JP-8 with Groove MIDI, and I thought it was the absolute best.]"
