NO CV INPUT? NO PROBLEM | ADDAC System - ADDAC320 Servo Control

video upload by DANIELE

"The ADDAC320 Servo Control by ADDAC System, a module that converts incoming CV into physical movement, allowing you to automate any knob that doesn’t have a CV input by mechanically turning it!"

0:00 Intro
0:22 How to set it up
1:30 Minimum and Maximum angle
1:48 Patch example

"At ADDAC we always admired the geniality of Neil Young’s Whizzer, way ahead of it’s time, a great example how great ingenuity and engineering can come together to make something great. Inspired by it’s motor controlled method we created a 4HP solution to control any knob that doesn’t have a CV input, while also possible to use for other gear as well (within certain distance constraints).

We use a Servo motor which is a specific type of motor that can be digitally controlled to go to a precise angle. This motor is controlled by a microcontroller that also receives an incoming CV voltage from 0 to +5v and lineary converts this voltage range to the 270 degree Servo motor range.

Using a spring wire and metal couplers the motor shaft is then attached to the target knob to be controlled which will turn as the Servo turns.

Two other knobs [MAXIMUM ANGLE] & [MINIMUM ANGLE] further allow to control the “sweet spot” of the target knob, setting a smaller Servo range.

Raising the [MIN ANGLE] knob above the [MAX ANGLE] knob inverts the Servo range.

We can't stress enough how important it is to read the whole User's Guide thoroughly for this one!"

WALK 4 | Just Sound Series | 5 patches

video upload by Joranalogue Audio Design

"Whether you use Walk 4 at audio rates for staircase vcos, audio mangling and noise or as a precision source of slow brownian stepped voltages, we are completely for it. On top of that: how you use Walk 4 is completely up to you. Join Simon for 5 quick patch ideas as we explore the fast and slow sides of Walk 4.

Walk 4 combines four analogue accumulators, a clock generator, white noise and auto reset to create a voltage stepping juggernaut."

MultiVERSE - New Multiversal Shared System | NUSS Episode 05

video upload by Cinematic Laboratory

"I got my MultiWAVE in december 2025, but got distracted by my January 2026 'musical holiday' and making the 'AI Survival Guide'. Meanwhile, MakeNoise has posted a wealth of videos and guides, and Red Means Jeremy did one of the best musical demos out there. There's no need to repeat any of those. I needed to do 'my own thing', but couldn't really figure out how this would look like.

My favorite modular will always remain the Shared System because this is what made me start modular in the first place, all the way back to 2018. The 'Shared' is my reference. So I wondered how MultiWAVE would sound as a shared guest and move my way to the full NUSS setup. NUSS is very much a new ecosystem and it's a bit 'closed' in the sense that you really need the combo of MultiWAVE, PoliMaths and the dual QXG to get started. Sure you can use them on their own (especially QXG) but you'd be in the unexplored territory of the MultiVERSE. However, this is where the happy accidents live. In the odd combinations and the bad patching.

So in this episode there's more noise than music. When the midi implementation firmware is available, this may change."

The Living Room - an idea/sketch Zoia, M8, Razzmatazz, NTS-3, MT-32 pi

video upload by Arman Bohn

"An 'in progress' sketch for an OST I'm working on.

My 2nd Zoia patch, 'Dream Shrine #2', is a four voice, generative synth thingy with master tempo and adjustable meter for each voice. The voices are routed through a reverb and ping-pong delay module. The four voices are also sending MIDI notes out on different channels - which are triggering 2 harp voices, a vibraphone and a celeste voice on the MT-32.

The Zoia patch is also sending clock sync out to the Razz to keep it in tempo. The M8 is playing back creepy public domain samples from an old-sci radio show about an alien that haunts your dreams called "The Green Thing".

NTS-3 is chopping the drums.

Not sure if this will be the final configuration - I'd like some bass in there as well. Just playing around at this point.

The album is an ambient-ish OST that should be out by this summer!"

Can’t Believe How Good the MicroKorg Is

video upload by The Unperson

"In this video I revisit the legendary Korg MicroKorg — a synth that has remained one of the best-selling hardware instruments for over two decades.

Released in 2002, this compact virtual-analog powerhouse has appeared in countless studios, stages, and bedrooms around the world… but does it actually hold up today?

I explore the sound engine, presets, vocoder, arpeggiator, and hands-on controls, and put it through its paces in a modern setup to see whether the MicroKorg still deserves its iconic status — or whether nostalgia is doing the heavy lifting.

If you’ve ever wondered why this little synth refuses to disappear, this video should answer that question.

I have to admit that I was really blown away with the depth and quality of the MicroKorg. I think it's absolutely amazing! :D"
