OXI One MK2 Update: New Sequencers Domino and Saga at Superbooth 2026

"At Superbooth I had to stop at the Oxi Instruments booth to say hello to Manu and his team and to check out the latest updates for the Oxi One sequencer. I got a closer look at the new sequencer modes Domino and Saga. The decoupling of trigger events from note events is a great idea.

The Oxi One has become the central sequencing hub in my studio. It allows me to combine CV and gate sequencing for modular synths with MIDI gear like the Prophet 6, Jomox Alphabase and the Access Virus A. A great surprise was discovering that someone from the Oxi community created a custom MIDI CC mapping for my very first synth — the Acces Virus A — which I bought more than 25 years ago."

"A spontaneous random session with the new Buchla Ziggy desktop synthesizer at Superbooth 2026 in Berlin. Exploring generative textures, experimental modulation, evolving sequences and raw Buchla sound design. The sound I´m tweaking is just from a preset.

The Ziggy is a standalone desktop synthesizer inspired by classic analog complex oscillators, featuring low pass gates, cycler modulation, built-in effects, and preset storage.'

Playing The Verbos System At Superbooth 2026

"At Superbooth 2026, Verbos introduced three new modules. In this patch the high lead voice features the new Haas Zone Processor — an oscillator with a band-pass filter and integrated delay, perfect for Karplus-Strong-style textures and resonant tones. The bass voice is built from two Foundation Oscillators running through the Amp & Tone module.

I also used the new Random Stored module to modulate stages 3 and 5 of the Multi Envelope, adding evolving movement and variation throughout the patch. Both oscillators are sequenced by the Verbos Multistage 16."

"Testing out the transparentSea multi-effects unit by Dresden-based ginTronic at Superbooth 2026!

transparentSea is a hands-on stereo multi-FX processor built for live performance, sound exploration, and DAWless workflows — with no screen or menu diving, just direct tactile control. During the demo I explore the delays, chorus, tremolo, reverb, saturation, filters, stutter effects in a real-world performance setup. I can see this unit as a successor to the Eventide Space in my live setup on a send & return channel.
