via the listing: "This is an E-MU mp-7 command station body I bought as a spare and installed the xtreme lead XL rom in. There is no mp-7 rom inside, just the xl rom- MAKING IT AN XL-7! I upgraded the OS so that it would refresh the preset list and stop looking for the mp rom so by default it goes into user patches which rocks! I tested out the unit - everything functions fine with the exception of the very first pad on the left not triggering properly ( it would false trigger every once in a while , so I pulled it out-can be stuck right back in) and the bent bnc light socket, also though it really has no bearing whatsoever on the functionality of the unit, some leds caps are missing above the track mutes (they still light up, though).The pad thing is hardly noticeable if you are using midi keys, but very noticeable if you plan on tapping out an entire beat (kick snare, etc.) on a single midi track, because the f'dup pad is where the kick is, you CAN just press the transpose key if you want to tap out the kick , but then the layout gets all strange (at least to me, since I use an mp-7 almost daily)."
