"Built in speakers - a useful feature and extra cool when sampled directly from them.

Creamy and lush sounds with 6 sections :

Strings (Cello, Violin, Percussion, with a 'solo' switch for the lead lines)

Reeds (Accordion, Organ, Musette)

Brass (Trombone, Trumpet, with its own controls for Attack and Filter Cutoff)

Piano (Piano, Honky Tonk)

Effects (with VCF/VCA Mute and Vibrato/LFO)

Attack and Sustain

Effects and Attack/Sustain are switchable for each section.

You can also mix different sections and voices pressing both bottons to create new sounds and textures."

"Rare italian 'orchestral' polyphonic synthesizer.
Like others in the same kind (Crumar Orchestrator, Siel Orchestra, Farfisa Synthorchestra etc) it combines in one instrument 4 different sections: strings / reeds / piano / brass each with several choice of instruments.
You can combine different sections by pushing 2 or more sections buttons.
Strings sound are really nice and benefit from a BBD triple chorus ensemble effect and a attack / sustain enveloppe.
It also has a nice Brass sound with a low pass filter with control over the attack of the filter (that can be very long) and a vibrato with adjustable speed.

The instrument was serviced and is in fully working condition. Most of the electrolytic caps were replaced.
Also a direct dry string sound output was fitted where the headphone was connected. Thus you can process the dry sound of the string alongside the sound affected by the built in ensemble fx.
The only minor isssue is the built in speakers were removed. But considering the quality of the system it didn't do justice to the quality of the instrument sound and it's not a big lost."

ArmonConcert - Strings/Brass/Reeds/Piano Synth...

Published on Aug 3, 2015 noddyspuncture

"Here is the 'ArmonConcert' I repaired... a very retro and cheesy 70's Italian keyboard that is actually pretty decent...! It has it's own unique sound. Very interesting to play with... seems to respond well to some external effects too...;)"

This is the first video demo of the ArmonConcert I've seen. One was featured in this audio track. You can find pics of the front panel and some of the inside in this previous post of one for sale.

Last Minutes of Twilight
