This is one of those "synths that got away" from me. I never picked one up but I did get a chance to play with one once. The RCOs are amazing. I wish I could afford one... Another synth that "got away" is the L.L. Electronics Rozzbox. I was always tempted to pick one up but never did.

via the seller: "This listing is for an extremely rare and quite possibly the cleanest ever Jomox Sunsyn 8 Voice Analog Synthesizer with OS 1.22. It has been living in my smoke free home studio and never left my house. It literally looks, feels, and operates like brand new, and has been extremely well taken care of. It includes both wood side panels and rack ears. This synth is extremely versatile and replicates everything from swelling Jupiter pads, to warm Boards of Canada styles pads, to strong leads or being a monster with aggressive powerhouse up front analog bass and leads. This is my favorite synth I've ever owned but alas I now have two kids and a full time job and cannot justify owning this synth any longer. I certainly hope it will find a great new home."

"We did not reinvent the wheel, but actually the complexity of this 8-voice true analog multitimbral synthesizer hasn't been there yet. The term "8-fold storable modular system" would describe this unit in a much better fashion, and exactly this is the SunSyn. Each voice is an ownstanding monophonic complex synthesizer.

The very special idea of the SunSyn is the unique mixture between

analog VCOs and digital waveforms

analog x-pole filters with morphing

analog envelopes with digital LFOs and an

analog routing matrix, which only takes 50% of the hardware space on each voice card.

"Selling off my EML 200 so I've decided to make a few videos of some pretty nonchalant jams to remember this awesome synth with and to show any potential buyers the tip of the iceberg with this semi-modular synthesizer.

The signal starts of just clean sunsyn then i start patching it in - the EML 200 really brings out any instruments hidden potential. For example, I feel that it really erases any "modern electronic" sound that the sunsyn might have by itself. In essence the sound is made grittier and more vintagey - I like it!

Anyways, check out the auction - pretty sad to have to see this one go

Oh and ignore the crappy playing, I was kinda going for something ambient but I'm not primarily a keys player"

"We had this idea since quite some time - now it turns into reality.

Since 15 years we at Jomox build electronic sound producers. Meanwhile, some products have become history or can't be produced any more. Or they are too expensive for many musicians and keep an unreachable dream. For instance, instruments like SunSyn and Resonator Neuronium have only been produced in small quantities. Almost daily we get inquiries of people that we have to discourage because these instruments are not available any more.

In order to bring these instruments to a broader base of users and sound fetishists, we have decided to offer a sample download store. Here you can purchase high quality samples of these instruments for fair prices directly from the manufacturer.

The instruments that are used for sampling are of course in A1 condition and hand calibrated and selected, in technical and soundwise best condition - because they are build here.

The libraries will evolve and being expanded in future. Now the collection is tiny, but it will grow. There will also be loops and unusual sound bites, since individuality is our potential.

You can purchase smaller packs or even participate from sound producers or experimental synths that maybe never reach a serial production. And you don't need to purchase an expensive sampling CD with preproduced kinds of styles containing hundreds of samples only for the one special used sound.

The Jomox Sampleshop sound files are only offered for download - physical media packs with DVDs or BlueRay for shipping are not being produced.

Payment is very user-friendly with our payment provider ClickandBuy. Almost all Credit/EC-Cards or IBAN bank transfers are accepted and are perfomed via SSL secure data transactions.

After confirmed payment you are rerouted into the shop system and checked for download in your user account. The files can be downloaded for 3 days after purchase, then the download is cancelled.

4-Controls per Parameter:
• Slider: full range parameter value adjustment for a ‘coarse’ workflow
• + button: precise +1 parameter value adjustment for a ‘fine’ workflow
• - button: precise -1 parameter value adjustment for a ‘fine’ workflow
• Parameter default value button: pressing the parameter value label / button sets this parameter to a default value for a faster workflow (ex: VCO = Saw; Filter cutoff frequency = wide open; etc...)

Parameter Name and Value:
• Name (ex: VCO): as displayed / written on the SunSyn display / control panel
