内蔵シーケンサーで12ステップのフレーズを組み、LFOによる変調→周波数を上げて­リング的FM→三角波のMetalizerを上げてギラギラに→BruteFacto­rを上げて歪っぽく、という流れ。"

シンセ・リードは、ノコギリ波に2オクターブ上のスクウェア波をミックスしたオシレー­ター。ポルタメントを軽くかけている。ディレイを別で追加。シンセ・ベースはローパス­フィルターにエンベロープを効かせて。

サウンド解説2：SE
いろいろと試行錯誤しながら、パッチングを行って、細かな調整で出来上がった音を4つ­。2つ目はノイズをソースにサンプル＆ホールドを。4つ目はヘッドフォンアウトでオシ­レーターをモジュレートして作った。"

筆者などはモーグのモノフォニックは低音優先というのが、身に染みてしまっているのだ­が、Sub Phattyは低音、高音とともに優先なのだ。最低音のドを保持しつつサブ・オシレー­ターも入れた3声で弾いてみた。

元キーマガ編集長の松中氏から譲り受けた70年代のモーグ・ペダルをSub Phattyのフィルター・インプットにつっこんで、ベンド＋フィルターを同時にコン­トロールしながらジョージ・デュークしてみた。"

Pulse 2の精度の高いアルペジオで外部MIDIキーボードにより適当な和音を押さえてみた。­左手で和音の構成音を変えて行きながら、右手でPulse2の操作子をリアルタイムで­操作することで、操られながらも操っているという不思議な感覚ではあるが、とても新鮮­な演奏の気持ち良さを体感できる。

コニー・プランク周辺のドイツ勢が70〜80年代にかけて頻繁に多用したシンクのかか­ったシンセ・ベース・サウンドを再現し、外部シーケンサーからコントロールしている。­面白いほどのサウンド変化を行えるフィルター部はさすがアナログならではだ。"
