"We've all heard it before: 'That's cool, but can you make MUSIC with that thing!?'

Modular synthesizers are notoriously good at all manner of sonic chaos—but with some practice and some clever techniques, it's easily possible to turn your Eurorack system into a source of cascading, gorgeous generative harmonies. It. can be as harmonious (or discordant!) as you want it to be. One of the most important tools for wrangling the chaos and making it 'musical'? Quantizers—an important tool in any melody-oriented modular artist's toolkit.

In this video, our friend ‪@OmriCohen-Music‬ shows us some of HIS favorite tips and tricks for generating harmonies and melodies with modular synthesizer—all focused around the spectacular Shakmat Bard Quartet quad quantizer. Buckle in...there's a lot to learn!
