"This is a DEMO of the 15 presets of this powerful Italian vintage synth. At the end of the video we have fun changing the VCO, VCF VCA and portamento controls. At the very end the Random Music push button is pressed, a sort of Sample and Hold. No effect is used and only the raw signal has been recorded. Obviously with some delay, reverb, compression the already good tones of the instrument can improve dramatically. Thanks to Claudio Laucci who has helped me in finding and playing some of the melodies and the rest."

Der Syntex funktioniert voll und lässt sich spielen aber in Anbetracht des Alters krachen die Schalter und knistern die Potis ,...wie halt von den meißten italo Synthis dieser Zeit gewohnt :-))

Natürlich hat er auch altersbedingte Gebrauchsspuren

Ungewöhnlich guter Filter , eindeutig einer der besten , diskret aufgebauten , in einem Italo mono Synth !

Total verrückte Sample und Hold Funktion :-) , volle ADSR Hüllkurve , LFO Modulation auf die 2 Osc , Filter und VCA

Wird mit Schaltplan als pdf geliefert

Zu sehen auf youtube in einem Grobschnitt - anywhere Video aus den 70'gern ,.........verdammt lang her :-(

Am liebsten Abholung , da dieser Synth doch sehr empfindlich ist ....Versand aber auf eigenes Risiko auch möglich

Ich hatte drei von denen .......hatten sich die letzten 20Jahre hier so angesammelt :-))

"I offer a Welson synthesizer of type Syntex. The Syntex is completely functional and can be played, but regarding its age some switches and potentiometers crackle - as most of the italian synths from this age.

Also there are optical traces of usage - corresponding to its age.

Exceptional good filter, definitely one of the best discrete built filters in an italian synth.

Totally crazy Sample and Hold function ;-), full ADSR envelope, LFO modulation on both of the two Oscillators, VCF and VCA.

Schematics will be delivered as pdf.

You can see this synth on youtube in a Grobschnitt - anyware video [remark: Grobschnitt is a mid to late seventies Krautrockband] ... damn' long ago.

I'd favour local pickup, since this synth is quite delicate ... shipping is possible but definitely on the risk of the buyer.

I had three of those ... they accumulated here somehow ;-))
Recently I sold one here. This one is the second I am selling. The last one I will keep.

"Here is a demo (and a long one too) of a Welson Syntex (not to be confused with the Elka Synthex), Italian-made analog monosynth from 1977 that I bought yesterday in a junk shop in Viterbo, Italy, for 25 euros. What a sound! It can deliver some squelchy basses that give 303's a run for their money...and not only that! But, being it my first "real" (not VST-emulated :-)) analog synth, there's still a lot more things to discover. Enjoy!"

Synthmaster

Trip. When I had severe GAS (Gear Aquisition Syndrome), I used to have these dreams where I'd walk into a pawn shop and see all these bizarre and obscure synths. Sometimes they were rare models of Oberheims and Rolands, etc, but usually they were obscure synths from manufacturers I've never seen before. Right before I was waking from the dream, I'd think if I only grab one I might be able to take it to the other side. : ) If you ever had dreams like this you probably know what I'm talking about.

Well, when I saw the Synthmaster post on sequencer.de, I had that same feeling, like I just walked into a pawn shop of obscure synths in dream land.
