The listing is from the author Peter Forrest who states this is likely the last set.  These are great books and imo the most comprehensive.  Click on the pics to get an idea of what they are like.  Peter also has other items listed including The Museum of Synthesizer Technology and Synthesizer von Gestern II.

PolyMiK breadboard synth

YouTube via MusicMiK. Remember you can search on MusicMiK on the top left for more.
"I started this project last weekend and i think this will be the synth with the shortest development time i ever made :)

Okay, in fact, much of the design was heavily inspired by the Korg Trident and the AAC Tiracon 6V, i just added sub oscillators, ring modulator, and some of the surrounding electronics. The firmware later will add a lot of power with several LFOs, multi-stage envelopes (thinking of 8 stages), microtuning and we'll see what more ideas i add into this.

I'll try to use an AVR to control this, but if it's not powerful enough, it will get an AT91SAM7S for this - like the one i use to control it currently.

The (nearly) complete 1-voice version of the synth is built on the breadboard, controlled serially by just 5 wires from the computer board, which of course will be on the main synth PCB also later.

Need to add the offset correction trimpots now, check if it's possible to do a fine calibration, then i think i will etch some voice boards to clean up the breadboard."

Accidental Polysynth

YouTube via MusicMiK
"Today, i played around a bit with the impressively simple VCO design of the Korg Trident. Analyzing some of its behaviour and adding sync between 2 of them with just one diode, i decided to add a 24db low pass filter also, which is inspired by the AAC Tiracon 6V filter.
By this, i sort of accidentally created a nearly complete and very simple synthesizer voice. Everything is linear controlled, but for a polysynth, i could use a multiplexed exponential converter like Korg did in the 80s.
Adding some analog switches, noise, maybe sub oscillators, this will give a very simple polysynth i think.
I will continue on this and i'm planning to make it an open source/hardware project for everyone interested in it."

Tiracon 6V sound demo

YouTube via MusicMiK. follow-up to this post.
"Those following me on twitter (SynthMiK) might have seen that i got a nearly complete Tiracon 6V to give the boards i recently showed an enclosure and make it a complete synth again.

In fact, i now have a completely working spare board set, because i was able to repair the ones that came with the synth also.

The restoration of this synth can be followed as a raw photo collection here: http://www.mik-music.org/gallery66
The power supply and the wooden side panels still need work, but this will take place in the near future.

I cut out my usual babble from the video to use the whole 10 minutes for the sound demo, the text has gone here this time.

I hope you have some fun :)"

Tiracon 6V board set brought to life

YouTube via MusicMiK
"I recently got this board set from an internet auction for an interesting price. The seller told it's unused - which really might be true, as i didn't see any traces of screws or so on the boards.
It's just the digital board, analog board with voice boards and the display board. The power supply without the transformer was also included but not used here, everything is hooked up to the lab power supply currently.
The EPROMs were still okay (sure, i first dumped them :), some chips were broken, and in some places, there was a mechanical damage.
All in all got this far in 2 days and i think i will get this back to life as a usable synth again."

Remember these videos?
Both peteness and Tiracon wrote in with some more info.
via peteness:
"Thanks for adding my unpretentious YouTube videos from Prague. That was the meeting of czech/ slovak internet forum "Electrozone". Electrozone is interested in mixing, recording, FXs, synthesizers since 2002....... The biggest analog freak of us is Bodyia. See his site [Syntetizéry].

There was a first synth's meeting in Bratislava one year ago. Here is some pics from Prague a week ago."

The Tiracon

Update: According to Lutz in the comment section, "This is a prototyp made in 1989 from AAC (Automatisierungs- und Anlagenbau Cottbus). It is a keyboard with presetsounds, some effects and a rhytm-machine inside. Its not a Synth !!!"

Update: Via Moogulator of seqencer.de. The Tiracon was not a by Vermona but actually a prototype that never went into production by an east german company. He didn't state the name. If I get it I'll include it. Would be an interesting bit of synth history to know.

Via Steveo on Sonic State's the-gas-station. Title link takes you to the post. Nothing on the Vermona site yet. Click image for a slightly bigger shot.

Update: Another synth, the Tiracon 6 is on the Vermona site.
