"Here's some feature of the Kenton MIDI retrofit: For incoming MIDI:
- Any MIDI channel can be selected
- Notes (MIDI note numbers 36 - 96) - transpose possible
- Program change (numbers 1 - 14 top row and 17 to 30 bottom row)
- Pitchbend - (bends up and down a second)
- Mod Wheel (switch to enable)
- Filter cutoff frequency (of low pass filter)
- Portamento
- Sustain
- Volume
By default:
- pitchbend is controlled by pitchbend messages
- mod wheel is controlled by Mod Wheel (CC#1) and also by Aftertouch messages
- filter cutoff is controlled by CC#16
- resonance is controlled by CC#17
- Volume is controlled by MIDI volume (CC#7)
- Sustain is controlled by Sustain (CC#64)
- Portamento is controlled by Portamento (CC#65)

however, any controller or aftertouch or velocity can be mapped to control other things so for example velocity could be mapped to control volume."

"The CS-60 is essentially half a Yamaha CS80, and around half the weight too, so there's less chance you'll need roadies and/or a chiropractor.

In addition to any necessary repairs, our tech did the following work to this unit:

Power supply unit removed and recapped.
Replaced power cord.
Cleaned and lubed all pots and switches.
Cleaned and lubed all bus bars and key contacts.
Replaced touch sensor felt.
Replaced a some trimpots to make tuning easier and more stable.
Recalibrated.

Unlike most others on the market, this one works perfectly and shouldn't need any costly trips to the tech anytime soon, and is priced accordingly."

"A sublime vintage analog synthesiser which has been kept in a smoke free studio, and due to a recent studio move some items are being sold due to space restrictions.

The CS60 is the smaller brother of the CS-80 for a fraction of the price.
This particular one was serviced by SRS in July'13 however the ribbon controller has since developed a fault and is not working. All other functions are operational."

Yep, apparently it happened.

"Unfortunately this CS60 was the victim of some naughty feline who often used it as a place to relieve him/herself. We cleaned it the best we could although it still smells of urine, and the synth does not seem to be 100% functional. All the keys work, and the knobs/switches/parameters do effect the sound but when 1 note is played in succession, the pitch jumps around to seemingly random notes. There is also corrosion on many of the boards. So it will need some restoration, although it's not dead by a long shot."

"It was serviced by Kent Sprong just over 2 years ago with a new ribbon controller ( which was quite expensive ) Its hardly been used in the last year . The tuning is super stable . Its an amazing sounding synth."
