"I love samplers, but I wasn't completely happy with how most of my samplers work, mostly in terms of looping. So, I thought I would attempt to make my own and try to make it more playable.. Anyway, this is the result.

The way it works is that it looks at the note being played and makes the sample length shorter or longer depending on this. There are also some effects, bit crush (you know me), reverb and a resonant low pass filter.

It also comes with audiobus, core midi and ACP 2.0."

"Elsa is a retro style sampling keyboard with tempo based looping. Record, save, load, reverse samples with a multi octave on screen keyboard or plug in your core midi device of choice, soft- or hardware. Elsa comes with three built in effects, a reverb, a resonant low pass filter and a frequency/bit crush. Samples are looped in three different modes, one off, forward and/or forward-reverse. The start and end of playback also comes in three modes, one set of start and stop for all, one set per note and/or one set per octave, allowing for many different types of samples. Additionally at playback time, sample length can also be controlled by a set of sample dividers, 1-8.

Shape is a polyphonic synthesiser allowing the user to draw the shape of the oscillator waveform. The positive side of the oscillation is represented by 32 blocks and the negative side is its mirror, generating all sorts of possible raw retroish sounds. "Receiving my #Playdate recently reminded me of another fun device that has been greatly neglected by me unfortunately, the #NanoloopFM. So i thought i could take the chance to bring all these clicky buttons together 😉 All sounds here are coming from the Nanoloop (spiced up with #Artifacts app @numericalaudio4903 ). It’s plugged into the Playdate via TRRS which runs an early version of an upcoming playdate app @humbletune that creates awesome interactive and audioreactive lofi visuals! I’m switching here through different scenes and add live glitch fx on the fly. So much fun! Here also projected from above using playdate’s mirror companion app."

"Hi. I am reworking the midi mapping for shapesynth, improving it and making it default to the op-1 layout. Also, in this beta you can see I have worked on animating the tape :), cool stuff. Took me a while to get that working without using too much processing, and the on screen keys have been improved a bit, sliding in to ways. Sliding up from below to sit over the current window and sliding as you can slide fingers between keys, all multi touch. Should have been like that from start."

"This is a test using sphero with nils. It is also using audiobus connecting sinusoid as an input to nils. Sphero streams gyroscope data to nils, which is used to control the sample rate (or any other 3 parameters the user chooses) and nils sends sound meter data to sphero, to control its light. Coming soon. I am pretty excited anyway...

Svärm (sound responsive particle swarm)

"This is my little christmas present this year. I hope it will be accepted by apple in time. Of course it will be free, it is a gift. But enough about that.

Svärm implements a particle swarm that reacts to sound. All computations are done in real time so both live and recorded music works just as well. As input you can use the mic, line in or load songs from the iPod library. Oh, and it also supports audio bus (input, output).

"This is my little test song for voice bot, sorry Imogen Heap for borrowing a few chords from you. This is a channel vocoder I have been working on, and I have been going back and forth, if I should release it or not. The reason mostly being that it takes a bit of effort from the user. Clearest I think the sound gets if you speak slow and articulate, in this sample though I kind of more sang, dragging some of the letters. Also, a mix of your voice and the vocoder could work too.

Well, I have decided to submit it anyway, I think it makes some cool sounds. It should be available soon and it won't be too expensive."

"Voice bot is a real time channel vocoder. Using the microphone, your voice modulates the synth resulting in a robot like singing voice. Nils real time chopping filter

"I have been really excited about this filter today. Playing with the algorithm and singing all day, so this test sample has some vocals on it. Oho. :) I know it is rare, I am a bit shy.

Anyway I am not sure what to call the filter. It is a tempo controlled non linear delay I guess, producing some, I think nice sounds.

Oh, and if you are wondering what the graphics are, it is a dimetrodon. I thought it was fitting, no not really but I really wanted to draw one.

Also, off coarse no effects are added afterwards, all in one take. Not that my poor skills should fool anyone but... I am not sure when I will submit. Need to digest this and find some more bugs probably."
