Full MIDI implementation makes it very flexible when using it with sequencers and other MIDI boxes as both master, slave, and a sound module. The RX-17 has MIDI in and out, stereo 1/4" outputs, and 1/4" headphone output. This unit has been professionally modified with:
* 3 noise filters- these add variable amounts of distortion, noise, and feedback
* 2 glitch switches- these turn the normal sounds into clicks and odd noises
* 16 point RCA patchbay- combine any points with included rca cables for dozens of new sounds and effects
* 1/4" line input jack with volume control(red knob) - This also works through 2 of the noise filters
* custom hardwood side panels for "vintage" synth look
