Linn Linndrum - VEMIA

via this VEMIA auction

"Rare vintage drum machine, in practically immaculate condition, with a very good flight-case. With the original user manual. One owner from new (Ed Starink). Thoroughly serviced and working perfectly."

Waldorf Wave - VEMIA

via this VEMIA auction
"The rare, rare monster synth from Waldorf, famous for its never-quite-finished software (a few buttons never did do anything, and still don't) but also its massive, silky sounds and wonderful interface. This one (56th out of maybe 150 or less ever made!) is a one-owner instrument from Ed Starink, in super condition except for a few paint chips on the back edge. The panel and keys are lovely. Great working order, with a new battery, all sounds accessible, and new hydraulic struts (a usual failure in Waves). Complete with the original literature in top condition."

KORG DDM220 - VEMIA

via this VEMIA auction

"Classic early sampled drum machine with latin sounds, please note that this drum machine is pre-MIDI, but does have DIN sync (sync 48). In perfect working order."

KORG Mini Pops Junior - VEMIA

via this VEMIA auction

"A preset analogue drum machine that actually pre-dates the Korg brand, and is actually a Keio Electronic Lab product. The start switch has been replaced and so is not original, and it has had a new longer mains lead fitted at some point in the past. Still works well."

Ensoniq PVI Drum-Key for Apple II - VEMIA

via this VEMIA auction

"Rare drum machine board for the Apple II, designed by people who went on to co-found Ensoniq. With the board, in seemingly perfect condition but sold untested; and the original user manual, a bit faded but probably unused. from the original European Ensoniq distributor. A slice of digital music history."

Roland AAT modified TR606 Drumatix - VEMIA

via this VEMIA auction
"AAT modified TR 606. Vintage analog drum machine. Comprising 19 tonal modifications, 14 control voltage inputs, 6 audio outputs. With KADI interface for MIDI triggering. Now has a very distinctive sound. Quite rare. It has been said :- 'Im very happy to endorse tims work which is top notch and if this 606 [havnt seen it] is like the 2 I got from him it will be fucking excellent, easily the best mod'd 606 ive seen, save yourself a lot of soldering and treat yourself.' afx"

Simmons Three rare 1U rack units - VEMIA

via this VEMIA auction

"Three Simmons units, some of the last few items left from one of the biggest UK synth collections. SDS1000M, **110V**. SDS1000, 230V. SDE Expander, 230V. Not exhaustively tested, but two things we noticed on the SDS1000M were: 1.) the 'select' button doesn't work; and 2.) the red plastic LED cover is loose. Just one set of rack ears between them. Cases a bit tatty but control faces in basically good condition. Sold as seen, but not known to be faulty apart from what has been mentioned."

KORG MS20 Blackboard - VEMIA

via this VEMIA auction

"Here's probably a unique chance to get one of the rarest synth ever made ! This is a Blackboard KORG MS20 made by KORG in 1978 , for synthesis education. This one was sent by the Japanese KORG Firm for Mr Francis RIMBERT (JM JARRE's well known musician) for a French synthesiser school. Less than 40 examples were made !! It has been serviced last year by a professional in France, so everything has been checked, and cosmetically is really in very good condition. The keyboard can be replaced into the main panel if you decide you want, but it looks very good like that and it's great to use like it, and it was made in wood in 1978 as soon as it arrived in France. Big dimensions (1 meter x 0.70 m x 0.12 m for the panel)" giant ms20

New England Digital (NED) Synclavier II Instruction Manual - VEMIA

via this VEMIA auction

"Fascinating reading: the mammoth original instruction manual for the NED Synclavier II. One owner (Ed Starink - whose sticker is on the front cover). Complete, and in very good condition except for a little kink at the top left of the cover - visible in the photo. Hundreds of pages - you can tell by the weight of 2.6kg just what a monster this is! Packing £2."

Synclavier docs 2.0-2.2,2.8,3.0,3.1 via this VEMIA auction
"Original documentation for the Synclavier release 2.0, 2.1, 2.2, 2.8, 3.0, 3.1. From Ed Starink - duplicates of the documentation for his Synclavier 3200."

Oberheim OB-Mx - VEMIA

via this VEMIA auction
"Immaculate condition OB-Mx, fully expanded with 12 voices. OS version 1.04, which has had a bad press but seems stable and efficient to me in this machine. All voices seem exceptionally well matched and very well-behaved. In contrast the installed factory presets are generally pretty lame - brash without being exciting, and very badly matched in overall volume. Without onboard effects, most of them sound pretty uninspiring. But playing with the complex and powerful cross-modulations, and using the 12 individual outs, this is a powerful synth which justifies the tag 'Designed by Don Buchla'. Uses standard IEC plug, not included. With original user manual in excellent condition. One owner (Ed Starink) from new."
