Innerclock Systems New Sync-Lock

"Hardware interface provides sample accurate and simultaneous Din-Sync, Midi Clock and Pulse Triggers from any Host DAW Application via provided AU and VSTi Plug-In.

Maximum 20 Microsecond Input Pulse to Output Sync Conversion Time - all outputs.

Plug-In provides:
Variable Tempo Ratios
Variable Start Offset
Variable Loop Length

Variable Swing Base - 1/4, 1/8, 1/16ths etc
Programmable Patterns
Programmable Active Pulses per pattern.

The Sync-Lock can be fed pulses from any device - it works on Audio or Voltage Pulses and does not need DC Coupled Hardware or any modification to work.

Any Audio Soundcard will work beautifully.

Stand alone Hard Disk Recorders may be 'striped' with pulses also to provide perfect sync for live performance or accurate sync for overdubbing in the studio.

$395 USD

That includes:
Sync-Lock
Universal Power Supply
Y-Adapter for FootSwitch/Trigger Output

AXiS 49 - EPIC Dance Track (edit)

YouTube via guitarDouchebaggery

"This me playing my new trance-ish song on my AXiS 49 (a harmonic table keyboard).

The actual song is longer, but I'm entering a contest where the submitted videos should be no longer than one minute, so I had to cut it down a bit ;-)

If you're interested in the whole song, I posted the full audio version on http://www.myspace.com/dageorg
Feel free to add me on myspace

Bent 2010 Open Call for Performers, Artists, and Instructors

via Brendan Byrne
"We're hoping to make next year's Bent Festival the biggest one yet by starting a little earlier than usually. We we're hoping that you could possibly post this on your blog/website as we see you as a node of the circuit bending community

The Tank is currently accepting proposals for:
Bent 2010 : The 7th Annual Circuit Bending Festival

Tentative Festival Dates:
New York, NY Bent Festival - April 22, 23, and 24

Proposals:
Proposal Deadline: December 1, 2009
Participant Notification: December 11, 2009

In keeping with the expanding interests of the community, this year we are continuing to open the Bent Festival to performers and artists that create their own electronics as well as to those who hack, bend, modify and destroy them. We are currently seeking performers and artists to participate specifically in these categories: Performers, Installation Artists, Artwork Submissions and Workshop Instructors.

Please send all proposals and questions to:
New York Bent Festival - bentnyc *at* thetanknyc.org

PERFORMERS
Bent Festival seeks bands and/or solo artists who incorporate home built or circuit bent instruments or ideas in their performance. Please email a short description of your act, along with a link to mp3s and photos if you have them. Please do not send attachments larger than 1MB.

INSTALLATION ARTISTS
Bent Festival is looking for installation artists who can commit at least 15 hours to creating site-specific pieces of art at each of the venues during the duration of the festival. Installation artists will be provided with space, materials, electronic equipment and tools. Please submit via email a brief description of your installation idea along with examples of your past work. Please be prepared to commit to spending time in the installation space during the festival and be prepared for a shared and at times hectic work environment. No white walls here!

ARTWORK SUBMISSIONS
In addition to installation artists, we would like to have featured art work that fits with the spirit of the festival from people who might not be able to join us in person or who cannot commit to working in the space during the duration of the festival. Please submit via email digital images or links of your work and a brief description.

WORKSHOP INSTRUCTORS
Bent Festival is seeking workshop instructors to present on various topics. Topics in previous years have included: General circuit bending workshops for beginners and extremely technical, hands on workshops on a particular aspect or niche of the genre. Please describe the subject you would like to lead a workshop on and provide a one-page description of that workshop, in addition include links or examples of your current and past work in the field.

Digitana News - Microstep, user demos, MPR udate

"A picture of the new Microstep 8 step analog sequencer has been added to the gallery - The design has changed a bit from the prototype shown last time, aside from a few cosmetic changes it also now has a much nicer case in heavy duty aluminium. It is a simple analog sequencer very similar to early modular sequencers, designed for modular and CV gate equipment only (No Midi) Here is the spec:

8 Steps (foreward only) each with LED indicator and CV amount
8 Pulse outputs for triggering envelopes etc or setting sequence length when fed to reset input
CV output
CV width control (controls range of CV output)
Trigger output
Clock input (no internal clock)
Reset input

Priced at £147GBP plus shipping, we think this represents great value and is possibly the most affordable ready built analog sequencer available anywhere, it is a very flexible and very fun device. A video demo will follow at some point this week outlining some examples of its use. These will be prepaid built to order only initially, due to time constraints, expected to start late October, further details to follow later this week.

The Micro Punk Robot stock is running out, I have shipped almost all of the second batch now to happy users all over the world, I have yet to hear back from a few people who pre-ordered so if you have changed your mind please let me know as there is now a waiting list for batch 3 (probably to be available early 2010)

In the meantime check out these great user demos-

Ari from Helsinki did this brilliant performance

We always love to hear Digitana products being put through their paces by our customers so if you'd like us to hear your music let us know and we will post it on the mailing list for others to check out too :)"
