"Hello folks, this is not an official AnalogAudio1 video.
This is a video for my eBay auction, where I sell a defective Polysix with the battery leakage problem.

Item Nr. (eBay Germany)

I will delete this video after auction end. It's a simple demo of a defective Polysix for ebay and it was not made to last ;-)

Bid as high you can :-)"

"i would feel bad eating this one....here's to a noisy birthday weekend."

Follow-up to this post.

Talk about having your synth and eating it too. If you like this one, check out the Maths cake here, and of course check out the Synth Cake label below for more.

"It has CV and GATE connections so can be controlled via MIDI with a MIDI-CV convertor. It also has a useful audio input for processing external sounds through the filter."

"Here is what is wrong: 1) There is a high-pitched noise on output (softer than the string sound); 2) the low F# & F#2 make a fuzzy "raspberry" sound on all presets, as does the low F on the Cello patch, and the low F# on String patch; 3) The Cello select switch is a bit hard to set but can be done; 4) no lid; 5) some keys are scratched, 6) the power on LED works but takes a while to light up.

But it sounds like an Arp OMNI on steroids when you hit the ENSEMBLE button. This is one extremely rare bird, they didn't make but a few. Hohner actually made another, different synth, also with a K4 nameplate (go figure)."

Living Part 1 (iKaossilator)

YouTube Uploaded by ratface1987 on Apr 7, 2012

"I had a bunch of ideas sitting around on iKaossilator and I didn't know what to do with them. Then I felt really impressed to put together a continuous, dynamic performance of music that didn't stop for a long time. The result is this 48+ beauty. Not all the transitions are perfect, but I am very pleased with the result.

If you're looking for the most exciting video, this probably isn't it, but the music in my opinion makes for a good listen. So sit back, relax, surf the web, eat a sandwich, keep this running in the background and enjoy the tunes. :)"

Living Part 2 (Figure iOS)

Published on Apr 10, 2012 by ratface1987

"I decided to do a series of live videos where I try to jam out and just put up whatever happens, but with the goal that the performance stays dynamic and interesting the entire time (as opposed to long jam videos where you watch someone pick drums sounds, make minor tweaks, and blah blah blah).

This installment of the Living series uses the iOS app Figure. It sounds good, but is limited to three instruments and two bars of music. It also lacks any sort of save or export feature, which is actually why I decided to buy it. I wanted to use it for making live, spontaneous music, that I wouldn't worry about recording, practicing over and over, perfecting, etc. Just music in the moment.

So I hope you enjoy. :) Like Living Part 1, I recommend just setting this on in the background while you do something, like you would a CD or MP3."

Living Part 3 (Roland MC 303)

YouTube Published on May 12, 2012 by ratface1987

"Part 3 of the Living series of long jam videos. Hope you enjoy. Here I'm using the MC 303 with the Korg Kaoss Pad Quad for effects.

It fell apart at the end so I decided to cut off the last five minutes and fade out instead. You get to hear the beginning of it at the end when the 303 decides to switch to a different pattern. I tried to recover after that but it was ugly... oh well.

There are some rough spots. And the the cutoff/volume knob on the MC 303 is starting to poop out on me so some of the filter sweeps freak out a little and that's why. Sometimes it actually makes a cool effect."
