Click the pics for the full size shots. I love the texture and shadow of the Q on the back for some reason.

"These units are rare as only roughly 600 were made over a decade ago. Here is some more info about the unit:

'The 777 is a monophonic analog synthesizer with a digital sequencer. Built with the highest quality of components, the 777 is housed in a rugged aluminum chassis, has solid cherry end pieces, with top of the line knobs, switches, and electrical components. This machine is built to last.

The 777 is capable of reproducing the oh-so-famous sound of the TB-303 in every way, but that's the least of it. TheTB-303 has only six knobs and one switch to control the sound, while the 777 has all these, plus five times more. There are 32 knobs and 7 switches to be exact, all instantly available with their single dedicated feature. The sequencer part of the synthesizer contains 28 illuminated keys, keeping all the features readily available for the user to tweak at any time. No menus, no virtual analog synthesis--this is the real thing!

5U Moogerfoogers

via gearmedia

"Putting final touches on the panel art for the #moogerfooger 5U panels."

Update via @GearMedia.

Additional details via here.

"It's not 100% clear from the Matrixsynth post but this @GearMedia Moogerfooger Panel project (GiMP for short) is a personal DIY project of mine that I've been slowly working on (or not working on) for over a year. The panel designs have been 90% done for quite a while. I even posted some initial designs on @Muffwiggler.com last August to some warm praise and thankfully positive feedback. I'm only now getting a number of blank panels to prototype the conversions with. (life gets a bit in the way sometimes)

These will NOT be for sale on the GearMedia.net webstore …yet. Depending on community interest, build time, complexity, and costs it MAY never be a service or product that is officially or otherwise offered by GearMedia.

I have yet to convert one, let alone take on the task of converting many. I would love to be able to sell these as kits or as a complete conversion service… give it time. It may happen but it's a hobby project for now. It may not always be. You'll just have to be patient with me and see what happens.

Happy Synthesizing!

MF-107 + MF-101 + MF-104z + MF-108M = Moogerfooger Evolving Drone

YouTube Published on Sep 14, 2012 by n3bsvid

[ My music: http://citizenpark.bandcamp.com ]

"This is a 10 minute video of an evolving/improvised drone-based soundscape generated with nothing but moogerfoogers. If you don't like drones, then you're about to waste 10 minutes of your life :)

The audio path is MF-107 - MF-101 - MF-104z - MF-108M.

I can't list all modulation routings as it was mainly improvised.

Hardware:
MF-101 (low pass filter)
MF-107 (freqbox)
MF-104z (analog delay)
MF-108M (cluster flux)
CP-251 (control processor)
VX-351 (voyager expander)"

Prettybrute [Arturia Minibrute & Anyware Instruments Tinysizer]

YouTube Published on Sep 14, 2012 by UncertainMusicCorps

"First trip out for a new arrival. Lots of things on YouTube show how aggressive the MiniBrute can be. It can also be very, very pretty if you ask it nicely.

Tenori-on sequencing Tinysizer and providing a simple beat for processing via the Monotron.

Normal service will be resumed shortly once I get rid of the Dusseldorf vibe that's been bothering me recently."
