Very vast range of High Hat and noise tones can be coaxed from this module easily, it has settings which undoubtedly rung true to the original TR909's that we all love but the Tune control and modulation inputs can take it far away from this territory entirely into new spectrums of sound.

The end is just a quick jam I threw together with the HATS909 used, nothing serious :)"

"Just a little something I threw together which is 90% Metasonix. Everything is processed via Metasonix machines/modules.

A little bassy patch coming from an R54 into an R51 which is being opened and closed by a Malekko/Wiard Envelator.

One set of drum sounds from one of the D1000's, some TipTop 808 Modules being processed by another D1000 and then a strange patch with an R54 into an R52 and then an R51 which was being opened by a Harvestman Double andore and run into a TipTop ZDSP for some ping pong delay.

Its wonky, all over the place and I had a hell of a time with it :) great fun devices!"

"This piece was created using a variety of new sounds for the Continuum Fingerboard release version 5.29. All instrumentation was performed on the Continuum except for the shakers. I wanted to create a more melodic piece on the Continuum than what I usually do. I was nice to limit myself to a small feature set in making this piece. Helps to focus the creative energy. I especially like the tabla like sound in this new release. Really fun to play and it's completely tunable."

"Rare 12 bit Sampler. It has the SCSI zip drive and the "pan" knob has been modified to control resonance of the filter, this can also be automated with the on board sequencer. This unit can also be treated as a sound module or sequence external gear. Internal sounds/samples can be mapped for triggering by external MIDI controllers and sequencers. The STUDIO 440 Sequencer can also drive its internal sounds/samples while driving external MIDI sound sources. The 440 will both send and chase SMPTE time code."
