"Specs:the z8000 matrix sequencer is a powerful modulation source in a compact package. the 16 knobs of the z8000 are accessed by ten sequencers with their own clock, direction and reset inputs. the ten sequencers areas follows:
four 4 step cv sequencers on the horizontal.
four 4 step cv sequencers on the vertical.
one 16 step cv sequencer on the horizontal.
one 16 step cv sequencer on the vertical.
with the z8000, you can simultaneously modulate many parameters in your synthesizer polyrhythmicly, with unprecedented motion. one knob affects all 10 cv outputs! imagine modifying 10 parameters from one knob,and all clock inputs can be driven at audio rates.
your synthesizer is modular, so your sequencer should be too. the z8000's open design allows you to create a custom sequencing environment to fit your personal needs. add clock dividers, clock sequencers,switches, trigger sequencers and logic gates to create a completely unique system.

"This machine sounds different from other string synths in that it sounds very haunting and the bass end sounds just down-right mean!!! The low end is deep and gravelly giving it this tremendous "growl" to it. It also has piano and clavinet sounds which can be fun and can really add to the texture of the strings/ viola,cello sounds or used by themselves. This synth also comes with it's original foot pedal and cable which work flawlessly!"

"Featuring:- ALM - Pamela's Workout, Roland - SH-101 (used as a sequencer only), Simmons - SDS-8, various Doepfer modules.
The Doepfer A-148 S&H module is providing the random notes for one VCO, and the SH-101 is providing sequenced notes for the other VCO which in turn is being fed through the A-101-2 LPG.
'Pamela's Workout' is clocking or triggering the SH-101, SDS-8 and various LFO resets."
