"I've been beta testing Secret Base Design's Live Guitar this week and got to thinking about how a guitar has 6 strings, and to fully take advantage of it in VirtualMIDI I'd want to use on a synth with 6 voices. When I paired it up with iPolysix I instantly fell in love with it as a way to play pads. This is so much more fun than just a simple bass synth, as is typically used with guitars!

"Very strong jam session duo :) I am not the best performer, its more about overall concept. All loops are made with Korg Kaossilator 2 and sampled to Korg Microsampler. I play only the pad synth on the KO2. In FL Studio I made some mastering (compressor + eq + stereo enhancer)"

I have been more interested in experimental sound composition for the last 11 years and my last "musical" release was back in 2001. In 2011 I broke my foot and it was during this time I became interested in making "musical" compositions again. The result, 6 complete albums written in 5 weeks. Digest 54 on SicSic Tapes, Show Fades released on Digitalis and soon to be released Delta Whan on Rocket Machine Tapes. The others should be released over the next year."

"hum.... I wonder what my DIY sequencer circuit will sound like in a Bleepy old PSS-100?

AH, bleepy and analog. Lovely.

The PSS-100 is a great old machine from the late 80's, with bleepy analog squarewaves and rhythms. I've hacked into the clock and the output volume, to provide sequenced modulation with my 4017 DIY sequencer circuit.

Spring loaded toggle switches on the right of the machine provide Glitch & Random waveforms, which can be modulated with the sequencer circuit. Just wobble the switches around and the machine will generate a random phrase, corrupted nugget of rhythm or a complex analog waveform.
The sequencer has a GATE track which mutes / un-mutes the master volume. This includes a GATE length knob & and INVERT switch. The PITCH track has an AMOUNT knob (pitch-up & pitch-down) and a DECAY knob.

It will also SYNC. with other gear, such as a MONOTRIBE
