"The ES-6 is the counterpart to the ES-3 Lightpipe/CV Interface, offering up to 8 channels of CV input with output via an optical lightpipe connection.

The ES-6 itself has 6 input sockets; the remaining 2 channels are provided by an expansion module e.g. the ES-7. Please note that a connected ES-3 is required for operation. The ES-6 gets its clock signals from the ES-3, which derives them from its lightpipe input. The front panel is drilled for both Doepfer and Analogue Systems mounting holes (using a 'slot' rather than a single round hole). The power connector is a Doepfer standard 16 way IDC, with -12V furthest from the top of the board.

"The Malekko Richter series in Eurorack modular format, offer the same great sound, ergonomics, musicality, and quality that made the Wiard 300 series legendary, at a fraction of the cost and size.

The Dual Borg contains one Borg I (left side) and one Borg II (right side). The Borg is a versatile audio processor. The concept comes from a marriage of two divergent influences, the Buchla 292 Low Pass Gate and the Korg MS20 filter.

The Borg is different from most filters in that, at its heart, is a vactrol. Vactrols are combination light sensor/light resistors that possess interesting sonic traits. Often described as “rubbery” or smooth in quailty, vactrols are also know for their relatively slow response. This response creates a natural, very musical decay. In Low Pass Gate (LPG) mode, the Borg will act as a filter and a VCA simultaneously. In combination with the characteristic vactrol response, this creates a signature sound that is desired by many synth enthusiasts, especially when used with very short, percussive patches.

But the Borg is no one-trick pony, and LPGs are not for every patch. When the resonance knob is turned “on” with a click, the Borg becomes a 12db filter with loads of personality. Gorgeous resonance, influenced by the MS20 and shaped by the vactrol design swells from subtle warmth, to a roaring howl that is unique to the Borg!

A continuously adjustable low pass to high pass control is provided (a notch filter is a mix of these two). There are two audio inputs, and two CV frequency inputs (one with attenuation). Two outputs are provided, output 2 has a slightly more aggressive resonance. Removing a jumper on the back of the Borg makes the resonance “scream” even more!

The Borg I (left side) has a slower response and a more mellow sound compared to the Borg II (right side). Thanks to its longer decay time, the Borg I is best for recreating the famous Buchla bongo patch, and the Borg II is best for a faster, more aggressive response.
The signal path of the Dual Borg is selectable: Series or Parallel.

In Series mode, when you plug into either in 1, or in 2, or even both inputs (as a mix), the signal is routed through the Borg I then the Borg II filter and both out 1 and out 2 have the same signal.

In Parallel mode, a single input into in 1 or in 2 is routed through both filters side by side, and a single output (either out 1 or out 2) will give you a mix of both filters. If you have only one input but two outputs, out 1 is the Borg I filter only and out 2 is Borg II only. If you have two inputs and two outputs, then each filter is completely separate: in 1 and out 1 is Borg I, in 2 and out 2 is Borg II.

"The Dual Delay represents the next step in delay based effects from Modcan. We took the existing Digital Delay 59 from the A/B series and dramatically reworked both the hardware and firmware model to add significant features and enhancements in the conversion to Euro format.

The most obviously apparent change was to make it a Dual with independant controls for each channel. We also added selectable modes for delay type. Choices are Re-sampling (pitch shifting effect when altering delay time) and a "Clean" mode for standard Digital Delay effects without pitch shifting.

Low noise design using 48kHz sample rate, 32bit DSP processing and 16bit I/O.

Other features include 0Hz-21K continuously variable 4 Pole Lowpass filter in the delay feedback path for "Analog BBD/Tape Delay" emulation. The filter has full range self oscillating resonance with voltage control of resonance amount and filter cutoff.

Input signals can be routed as two mono delays or stereo or as a dual Tap delay with delays in series internally. Each channel can be either in clean or resample modes and can also be patched in series and parallel for external feedback path. Delay time can be set by panel control knob, CV, external sync pulse and tap tempo buttons. Also sync division is available to divide the pulse clock. Each delay has 3 ranges

"This is a version of Modcan VCDO 58B. The VCDO 58B represents a new breed of sound generation for the modular environment. The primary design goal was to implement a variety of digital synthesis techniques and to combine them together in one module.

The most significant wave-shaping feature of the 58B utilizes the technique referred to as Two-Operator FM, providing a wide variety of timbres from mellow bell like tones to complex distortion.

The inclusion of harmonically rich sample based wave tables extends the complexity of the FM effect comparable to multi-operator systems.
AM (Amplitude Modulation) is also available on-board as is standard Exponential FM using the Expo FM Jack.

Conventional analogue VCOs are modulated with externally generated signals from LFOs and secondary VCOs etc.
Digital implementation of the VCDO 58B affords superior FM stability with internally generated, phase locked, sine table modulator.
The FM Index function controls the amplitude or depth of the modulation while the Ratio control tunes the modulator to a
rational frequency value relative to the carrier frequency.
Phase locking the modulator with the carrier produces beat-free timbres that retain spectral relationships over the entire frequency range.

The 58B includes standard VCO wave forms and adds several sample based wave tables. Pulse width modulation and hard sync are also supported.
Switch selectable quantized pitch tracking in semi-tone steps or non-quantized continuous frequency control with fine tune.
