TrAniModule Demo #1

Published on Aug 17, 2013 JRock17991·15 videos

"A Demo Of the AniModule TrAniModule: http://animodule.bigcartel.com/produc... Looking at $129.99 for Buckets of FUN!!!
Our Other Modules are here: http://www.animodule.com/store/eurora...
Modular Grid: http://www.modulargrid.net/e/animodul...
Here's a description:
Behold the TrAniModule!!!!
A 1 Watt, Class A Transistor Amplifier
In an 8HP, 29mm deep Package.

With a Line Input to jack your iPoop or your Walkman up to synth levels.
What's that?
You want to process your piddly little Line Level signal before you send it roaring out the belly of this little beast?
The Line out is normalled to the Mixer, so just plug in and it'll rip your signal away from the maws of this monster.

If you're looking for high fidelity
You better just slink back in to your studio with your Grandaddy's precious pretty monitors...
The speaker is about the size of my Big Toe!
But if you want portability and a warm sound that will drive when you crank it all the way, without knocking your granny off her chamber pot, We got'em both! AniModule has been working hard to help you achieve your Brown Note!

Really, haven't you ever wanted to pull your skiff out to the deck so you can contemplate life's inner intricacies and breathe the fresh air while you wind down your day?

But then you think twice cause your wife *cough* (we know you live in your parents basement) will think you're a kook while you're dragging your amplifier and cables through the house.

Now you can make that a reality. One outlet, one skiff, and you're communing with nature.

AniModule is helping to make your dreams come true.

The Mix out is just a nice clean, buffered mix of your 2 Attenuatable Inputs and the Line Input.
The Speaker Out is normalled to the speaker in case you want to drive a bigger cab, or plug your pretty little headphones in, or capture the tone after the amplifier. If you plug in, the speaker cuts out, but the master will still control the volume. Handy for live performance.

and really, if you want a nice clean sound, just dial back the levels a little bit!!!

AVICII - Silhouettes (performed live by Kebu @ Assembly 2013)

Published on Aug 17, 2013 Kebu·23 videos

"Kebu's all-analog synth cover of AVICII's "Silhouettes", performed live at the Assembly Computer Festival in summer 2013. Real-time computer graphics by VJ Julius Tuomisto and his amazing Z Vector software.

First time I heard AVICII's "Silhouettes" (not that many months ago) I thought it was quite a good tune and really liked it. But when I added a JX8P to my live rig I realized the tune would work great live as an all-analog synth tune.

The song was performed using only analog synthesizers, either played live or sequenced. The performance was recorded directly from the mixer to a stereo track and later mixed together with the ambience from the arena. A few mistakes have been cut out and replaced with the audio from a rehearsal take.

Equipment used in this song: Roland TR-808, JX8P, Juno 60, Alpha Juno 1&2; Korg Polysix, Poly 61, Mono/Poly, Micro-preset M500; Jomox AirBase99, Touched-by-sound DRM1, Oberheim Matrix 6R, Yamaha RM1x (only for MIDI sequencing), Behringer DDX3216, Lexicon MPX500, as well as a midi patchbay and additional preamps for my mixer.

Dave Smith Instruments Tempest Finger Drumming & Voyager Jam

Dave Smith Instruments Tempest. First finger drumming attempt.
Published on Apr 22, 2013 Andrew Jensen·12 videos

"Ive been following some tutorials on creating sounds for the Tempest. While doing so I modified the tutorials and created some of my own sounds based on the principles in the tutorials.
The first half shows the sounds dry and the second half adds some distortion.

This is my first attempt at finger drumming (as opposed to keying in the sequence one or two pads at a time).

Here is a link to the tutorials I have been using. I find them great especially for people who are new to drum synthesis (like me!):

Voyager and Tempest Jam
Published on Mar 21, 2013 Andrew Jensen·12 videos

"I didn't rehearse this so its not supposed to be anything in particular...I just turned on my Tempest and my Voyager, Loaded up a beat I had saved and ran it through the Ex. Audio input of the Voyager. I had the envelope gate set to "on / external" so the Voyagers note would hold and also allow the tempest to come through without holding down a key."
